[Q] Is it safe to install older radio on top of newer one?

Hello,

I've been having this issue lately where I don't get push notifications while on mobile data, and pages load quite slowly. I'm thinking it might be because I updated my firmware, as was suggested in my ROM's thread.

I'd like to try going back to the previous radio that I had - is that safe? I currently have the 17 June firmware, and would like to go back to the one from 15 May. Can I flash the older version on top just like that?

Will flashing an older firmware get me out of the bootloop?

My model number is the SM-N910P. I was on Android 5.0.1 when I first rooted and flashed CM12.1 on my phone. However, as I incrementally updated the CM nightlies, my signal seemed to get weaker over time even to the point where I simply have no service at all. I decided to snoop around and found that updating firmwares may fix these random signal drops since I was still on the Sprint 5.0.1 firmware while running the CM12.1 based on 5.1.1.

I managed to successfully flash the official 5.1.1 firmware from the Sammobile website and thought for some reason the cf auto root file (based on 4.4.4 according to the site) would work with the 5.1.1 firmware. Obviously, that wasn't the case and now I'm stuck in a bootloop. I assume there is no root method that works with the 5.1.1 firmware yet. Is that true? I do believe that was the reason for the bootloop, but I'm not 100% certain.

I'm currently downloading both the 4.4.4 and the 5.0.1 firmwares. Will flashing either of these firmwares via Odin get rid of the bootloop? Or will it fail?

I have the newer VK815 as im sure everyone can tell by the title.... I already rooted it, my question is are there any recovery options for me? Also are there any options for modding (Xposed framework, ROMs, Kernels) ? I love the tablet, and its definitely great the way it is performance-wise, but I would love to run some different ROMs, customise it a bit.... anyone that can point me in the right direction? If this has already been asked I apologize, but ive read through quite a few threads and havent seen anything exceot the root methid thread, thanks in advance guys.... ;)

Problem with dirty flash older version of a custom rom

Hello, a friend of mine installed a custom rom at my lg g3 android phone. The rom is ressurrection remix. I accidently dirty flashed an older version of the same rom, I had 5.1.1 r6 and I flashed 5.0.3, and now neither adb works nor download mode due to killswitch. The only thing it does is show the old rr boot image. It's on a bootloop and since it doesn't open I don't know how to fix it. Can someone tell me what should I do? :)
