Viper4Android Support

Hi guys,

does anyone know if Viper4Android can be installed to OxygenOS? Honestly, I don't really like Audio Tuner. That's why i would like to use V4A. Is there some kind of flashable zip which automatically removes Audio Tuner (like AudoFX etc.) and installs Viper on top?

Also, do I have to set the kernel still to permissive?

Spinning camera problem for games with controller support

Hello, i bought a gamestop xbox 360 controller yesterday and connected it to my tablet (transformer prime tf201) through the keyboard dock and when i launch the game and try to shoot the camera starts to spin, (the controller works great with the xbox 360) i tried to play modern combat 5, blitz blitzgrade, gta san andreas, shadowgun, dead trigger 2, bardbarian, (the camera spins only for the gameloft games and it happens only when i press rt, being in game) thankfully i can remap the controls for shadowgun and dead trigger 2 but still i boght the controller in the first place to play modern combat 5 with it, i cant find a way to fix this issue, i font know if its the keyboard that makes this problem or the actual gamestop controller.

Can anyone help or link me to a post or a video that could help me please.

but i found there is no much support from developer to this device like normal M9

the problem i can't live without cooking Rom :(

Bluetooth MAP (message access profile) support?

Any idea if the OPO support this?

It shows up under Bluetooth/device settings with a checkbox "Message Access (Use for map)" but it doesn't seem to work with my new car's interface. Basically allows your to display and read messages through your car's display. Doesn't appear to be working which makes me a little sad.

anyone working on facilitating >2g on T-Mobile network with the Xiaomi RedMi Note2?
Per mi.com/note2/specs/ it appears the device will support:
4G Network TDD-LTE (B38 / B39 / B40 / B41: 2555-2655MHz); FDD-LTE (B1 / B3 / B7)
3G network TD-SCDMA (B34 / B39), WCDMA (B1 / B2 / B5 / B8)
2G network GSM (B2 / B3 / B8)
Whereas T-Mobile support site indicates it utilizes these bands:
4G via: Frequencies: Band 2 (1900 MHz), Band 4 (1700/2100 MHz), Band 12 (700 MHz)
3G via: Frequencies: Band 4 (1700/2100 MHz)
2G Frequencies: Band 2 (1900 MHz)

Or for starters does anyone know if this type of mod is even possible given the modem chip used in the device?

No MHL 3.0 support? What about OTG?

I currently have a Note edge and have been looking at edge+ and note 5. I've seen a few post on xda stating that neither phone supports MHL 3.0 is this true, also do they still support OTG? I can deal without MHL due to chomecast and screen mirroring but I have to have OTG support especially since they ditched micro SD. Can anyone confirm both for me thanks.

Hey does 5.1.1 have raw support on the s6? I read somewhere that it does but I have 5.1.1 and my phone does not support raw. I really want to use raw as this camera is awesome

What is the international version with rom support

Hey folks, I'm interested with the note 5 and I just wanted to ask what is the international version that'll be supported by developers and roms. From my old info the euro model used to always be the international version but the device isn't released in europe, any help is appreciated.

any word for s6 xposed support?

Not sure its been answered or not, but is there any word on 5.1.1 armv7 xposed actually working? Its the only downfall I see of having this cursed thing, well aside from no cm12.....help anyone plz?

Xperia Z2 D6502 and LTE Support!

Hello ..

I know Xperia Z2 D6502 does not support LTE but where as its other variants like D6503 and D6543 supports.

My query is if I flash D6503 in my Z2 (D6502) then will it supports LTE? Does it requires separate hardware component for it to support LTE?

( May be this is a stupid question but I really wanna know if this can be done)

Support for Sony XPERIA T3 on the end?

So it looks like that XPERIA T3 is totally dead smartphone for Sony Mobile company. Stylish smartphone with was very expensive long time, but support from Sony Mobile is long time on zero. In last weeks there was one new firmware certified - 18.1.A.2.32. Than it was released, but it is only carrier update for Orange Poland with no improvements. So still only Android 4.4.4 KitKat and i am not sure, if this is not stop for XPERIA T3. Really don't understand, why no Android 5.1 Lollipop for it. Sony XPERIA M2 get this update and it cost half of money... But i understand, that XPERIA M2/XPERIA M2 Aqua was much more popular...

My brother is looking into switching to wind and getting a new phone
From wind's website:
The WIND Mobile network uses a frequency called AWS, with bands 1700/2100 MHz.

From gsm arena regarding the XT1540:
HSDPA 850 / 1700(AWS) / 1900 / 2100
LTE band 2(1900), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 12(700), 17(700)

it says 1700(AWS) but it doesn't have (AWS) beside 2100 so I'm not 100% sure.

Any idea?

Most Stable 5.1.1 ROM with Xposed Support?

So I recently developed an Xposed module while running KitKat. I released it and users are having trouble getting it to work correctly when running Lollipop 5.1.1 - can someone recommend me a stable ROM with working Bluetooth, SMS, and support for Xposed?

So here's the thing. When i'm on the road with my scooter atm i can't listen to any music. Currently using default Play Music app but that doesn't support the bluetooth profile HFP (Hands Free Profile). So i'm looking for an mp3 music player that does (pref adfree free, paid can work too) but it MUST support the HFP profile for my helmet bluetooth scala rider. It's an older model that doesn't support A2DP.

Posting this here cause i've got no clue what to use, if such a thing exists at all.

A bonus would be that navigation instructions (navigon europe over HFP) still come through.

Not asking for what's best etc, just curious if such a thing exists. I'll make my own choice afterwards. Free (no ads) if possible, paid is an option too.

I have little doubt that wireless charging keep the Smartphone bit warmer but that is acceptable! However, for fast wireless charging is there any issue of over-heating?

What was the fastest Windows Mobile Device to support AT&T

Before Windows Mobile was replaced by Windows Phone, what was the fastest (network-wise) Windows Mobile Device to support AT&T's 3G network? I always thought the old HTC Tilt2 that I had was the best they had to offer (hah....with it's miserable speeds), but my buddy said he had the HD2 on T-Mobile and got superior speeds to mine. So I am wondering what WAS the fastest WMD phone on AT&T?

Long time user of XDA but kinda confused on this particular thread. I have a Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and have only installed roms from it's respective forum. I also notice other carriers have their own forums as well but this one is just labeled Samsung Galaxy Note 3. I've never knew which phones these forums support or why it exists in the first place. Thank you very much for info and sorry for dumb question.. I just can't seem to find the answers. I do realize I can see what models the roms support and most models are something other than the sprint or verizon models (N900p and N900v) thanks again.
