Weather widget background animation not working

Hi guys,

My stock weather background is without animation for a while now. When entering the weather screen (after pressing on the widget) the backgtound flickers a bit, like it's starting the animation, but then it just shows the pic. Otherwise, the weather widget works fine. I'm on stock Lollipop, unrooted.

Does anybody know if there's a solution for this?

Thanks.

[Q] Theming Lollipop Notification Background

In Lollipop (5.1.1) I am wondering if it's possible to change the Notification Background to an outline, rather than the solid white it is by default. I know by using CM's Theme Manager you can change the shape, colour and transparency of this, but I want to the change it to an outline with no fill, or if not, something like this: http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...b576725372.jpg, with just lines.

Create notification system and run in the background

The app is simple ,:
- inicio.java: will only show a screen loading and do a check that you are connected or not the internet.
- carregando.java: will display a web page, using myWebClient;
- sem_conexao.java: will display a screen showing that is not connected and also a button to reload and make another check that you are connected or not the internet;

Everything ok ... But then This web page shows only news ... I wanted to make show the number of new notifications ... I thought of pulling of a page, the id of the last posted news, and this information would be saved in memory, whatever .. And it would be done a check every 3minutes eg ..
If, when pulling the url would be sent the latest id displayed .. And it would to do a check of the amount of new news, subtracting the values.

Does anyone have any idea how I could do that? I've been searching, but the most difficult being to make the app run in the background to keep doing this check.

Help me please !!

Will restricting background data for play services prevent it from auto updating?

Hello!

I don't know how I missed the function "restrict app background data" but anyhow, if I restrict background data for Google Play Services will it prevent it from auto updating when not on wi-fi? Or is the update triggered by something else e.g. Android OS? Android OS is the only thing available under Data Usage which you can't restrict background data for and if that's the source for Play Services updates it makes disabling background data pointless.

Please don't ask why I want to prevent auto updates, it is irrelevant. Thanks!

Video recording app, which allows background video

Hey, is there an app, which allows you to put pre-recorded video as a background of the video you are currently recording? Like a green screen, but with a video. I remember seeing this kind of action to be done on Asus Transformer tablet, which had ICS at the time. It was a feature in stock ICS app...

Apps running in the background?

Hi
Coming from an iPhone I am wondering: are apps allowed to run freely in the background?

I noticed this when waking up and noticing the Bloomberg app was up to date.

Wondering if this might drain my battery...

Thanks

Background data not working

Suddenly all my applications are unable to fetch updates while they are not on front, this includes google sync as well, I have double checked that "auto sync data" is enabled and "restrict background data" is not selected on my phone.

Whats else it could be?I don't want to reset my phone.
