ADB on Android M, Dev Preview 3

Hello,

Since Dev Preview 3 i'm not able to use ADB anymore. My Device is detected, if using "ADB devices" but it's unauthorized. I tried nearly everthing on tipps around, but nothing works. I don't get any RSA Key Popup Dialog on my Nexus 6 to confirm connection. Anything new or special i need to do ? Also there's no list of keys i could revoke in developer settings anymore, i'm really lost.

Attempted update to Developer Preview, stuck on "Fire"

I attempted to update to Developer Preview, tablet restarted and now just displays the animated "fire" screen, for the past two hours. Do I just hold down the power button to try to restart? This is a Fire HD 6, btw.

[Android M Preview 3] SMS Issues

I'm not sure where else to post this and I'm having trouble finding anyone with similar issues over search! So I don't know if it's a Preview 3 bug or if I'm going crazy.

Straight to it - my text messages are disappearing randomly. I had an entire text conversation last night using Hangouts and today those messages are all gone. I had a new text this morning that I could see when first opening Hangouts in the preview spot, but clicking on the conversation shows my last sent message from yesterday at 4pm. Nothing after that. Messenger app shows nothing past that either.

Initially I had dirty flashed Preview 3 over Preview 2 and had this exact same issue right away, but I wiped and clean installed Preview 3 the same day and haven't had a problem until today. I also noticed if I switch my default app to Messenger, I can't send any messages. It just immediately tells me 'touch to resend' and it doesn't even try to send. Hangouts messages go through just fine but they are still disappearing right after I send one, even.

Pushbullet was doing the exact same thing with disappearing texts previously but they were all still there on the phone so I thought maybe that was messing with me, but I have since uninstalled it and the issue is persisting. Rebooting my phone makes no change.

No space on System Bug M Developer Preview 3

Hi, guys, when I try to copy something into the system location it says that I don't have enough space, although I have enough space :( Any ideas?

Is there any way to get the Android M Preview 1 app drawer back on Preview 3

I've been on Preview 1 since you've been able to, and switched to preview 3 last night. I like it and have been getting great battery life, but I hate the app drawer. I loved the one in preview 1, and was wondering if its possible to get the preview 1 drawer on preview 3.

Titanium Backup Bug M Developer Preview 3

I have root and everything, but the problem is when I select to restore the backup, a popup appears saying that Titanium Backup has stopped working or something like that, then it force closes . Any ideas? :(

M Preview 3 unable to turn on WiFi

I'll say it right off the bat, I am on Project Fi and I am not sure if that matters. I wiped my phone and flashed the bootloader, radios, etc from the Shamu Android M 3 that was posted on Googles site.

Is anyone, Fi or not, experiencing this?? Would it be possible just to flash the radio from the Stage fright patch?

[REQ] Android M Preview 3 boot animation for Moto X 2014

Would be great if someone could port the Android M Preview 3 boot animation to a MP4 format that would work on the Moto X 2014!

Speakers on M Developer Preview 2

Am I the only one who has a problem that only 1 speaker is working on Android M Developer Preview 2? I haven't seen any posts reporting this problem so I'm suspecting that it's only me, I was on Lolipop before updating to Developer Preview 2.

Is there a solution for this?

The preview of my rear camera is quite grainy though the pics are fine... Is it supposed to be like that !? Its a 32GB S6 (920I)...

Hello! I haven't posted much here in the Nitro forums, but I got my p930 a couple years ago.
After loaning it out for a bit, I recently got it back, and decided to get Lollipop running on it (jumping straight to 5.1) :victory:

I've had experience porting newer versions of Android with another device (HTC Aria), but I can't say I'm extremely good at it.
I have most stuff working, but I might not be able to get everything working on my own.
Also I'm not very good at making a thread look good, so please excuse everything below being hard to read :D

It is based on miroslav's open source device trees and 3.4 kernel from github.com/NitroKK, but with the extra stuff removed to make it more like "stock" CM.

Bugs & things that currently don't work are:
- Camera
- Phone radio
- GPS
- Bluetooth is a bit sketchy
- MHL (aka HDMI out)
- SELinux enforcing mode
- Screen does not turn on sometimes - this is really hard to reproduce, so I'm not completely sure what's causing it :- It doesn't happen too often though
- Probably more

I am releasing this as a "preview" because of the camera, phone, and GPS being broken. Once those are fixed, the preview tag will be dropped :)
GPS should be pretty easy to fix, but might need the phone stuff working first. Camera and phone I'm not really sure where to go next..

Notes:
LG SU640 support: miroslav's compatibility patch linked in his CM11 thread should work fine.
If it doesn't, let me know (with a log if possible) and I'll see what I can do...

If your recovery asks to fix or install root when rebooting, just hit no - it's outdated and doesn't know the correct place to look for root anymore.
If you need to use root, you'll need to enable development settings by repeatedly tapping the build number in about phone, then turn on Root access in Developer options.

I recommend changing the launcher's app drawer mode to paged, as the effect when scrolling fast on the vertical drawer runs very slow on this device (and not great on newer devices either).

There is only about 90MB free on the /system partition, so Google Apps packages will have to be somewhat light-weight to fit in that.
I have linked to the one I use below, but if you use your own, make sure it's smaller than 90MB after extracting, not just as a zip.

Because of the quality improvements on Lollipop's UI, the performance is a bit worse than KitKat.
A flag can be enabled to give a much better framerate and general responsiveness etc, but at the cost of stability.

It runs much better, but causes really bad screen glitches and maybe other stuff (like the screen not turning on more often)
In the future I would like to fix it, but for now I'm leaving it off by default.

OXY SmartWatch Preview

Hi guys, I am the owner of OXY SmartWatch, a new SmartWatch available in two versions: Round and Square.

The watch is running Android 4.4 AOSP and we have built a custom version of Android that is more feasible for SmartWatches than Android WEAR. Plus we have custom Android Studio templates to work with our product and we give the possibility to install any ROM without breaking warranty or support.

S6 Gallery on Note 4 No Video Preview.

Guys here is the issue I have and maybe someone else experienced this and can help. I replaced the note 4 gallery apk with one I downloaded for S6. Wiped data and rebooted. Everything works fine except for when I preview videos along with pictures it just shows a blank square. If I select the video it will play it fine but I like to see it before I play it. It displays all my pictures fine in the little squares but not videos. Any ideas?
