We know XSP was moved to CM12.1 a short time ago, but what I want to know is if XSP will receive the final CM11 when rolls out.

Sony Xperia Z3: AOSP Build (Lollipop 5.0) - Time reset on device reboot

Hi,

I'm trying to build Android 5.0 for the Sony Xperia Z3 (leo) using AOSP sources and the vendor binaries provided by Sony on their Developer World website ('SW_binaries_for_Xperia_AOSP_L_MR0_v8'). System, Boot, Recovery, Cache and Userdata images are all built properly and I am able to flash them on an actual device.

However, each time the phone is restarted, the system's Date & Time settings are reset to the default, a fixed day in 1970.

From my past experience with builds for Google Nexus devices, this kind of issue is often caused by outdated or incomplete vendor files.
I attempted to build using the vendor from the software binaries available on the Sony Xperia Github project (sonyxperiadev/device-sony-leo), which is 'v7' I believe, instead of the version available in direct download, with no luck: same issue.

Has anyone encountered and/or solved this issue?
Is there a version of the software binaries I am missing, or do I need to tweak something in the source?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

A.Robert

CM 12 Build Error

I am attempting to build CM 12 for my phone as the latest prebuilts I could find were all for CM11. I am following the Cyanogenmod Wiki build guide for my phone and my build errored out thusly:

Code:

device/samsung/d710/selinux/system.te:2:ERROR 'unknown type system' at token ';' on line 11185:
allow system input_device:chr_file { read ioctl write open };
#line 1 "device/samsung/d710/selinux/system.te"
checkpolicy:  error(s) encountered while parsing configuration
make: *** [/home/sarah/android/system/out/target/product/d710/obj/ETC/sepolicy_intermediates/sepolicy] Error 1

It seems odd that 'system' would be an unknown device type, and I haven't edited the file, this is all what downloaded automatically. What can I do to fix this?

5.1.1 update is live, build no. G925VVRU3BOG5

Mismatching build numbers when flashing Stagefright update

Hey guys,

I have an unlocked & rooted Nexus 6 (T-Mo, I believe) that I'm using for Google Fi. I'm currently on the 5.1.1 update that I got pre-root, when Project Fi pushed it to me. My build number (in About phone) is LYZ28E .

Today I was attempting to flash the official Stagefright update via TWRP, however it keeps failing with the following message:

Code:

Package expects build fingerprint of google/shamu/shamu:5.1.1/LYZ28E/1914015 : user/release-keys;
This device has Android/aosp_shamu/shamu: 5.0/LRX21M/dees_troy11191312 : userdebug/test-keys

Again, my ROM is the stock OTA that Google pushed me. I'm not running anything custom aside from TWRP. Any clue why the installer is showing my device as 5.0/LRX21M, when it's actually 5.1.1/LYZ28E?

Thanks in advance!

Root for Build LRX22G-G920VVRU2AOF1

I picked up the S6 from Verizon over the weekend and without thinking I took an out of the box update that pushed the build to OF1. From what I have been reading there's no going back from this build. Is that true and would anyone know if someone is working on a method to root this new build or that will allow us to roll back to the old build to gain root?
