SMS Sync?

So I regularly switch between the OPO and S6, I'm looking for an app that syncs my SMS between the two. Right now I'm backing the texts up, uploading it to Google drive, then downloading and restoring the file. This is very time consuming as I don't delete my texts very often and have over 15k texts stored.

The only app I've found to do this is mysms but it's a paid service, I'm looking for a free app or much cheaper than what mysms charges... Any suggestions?

Smartwatch 3 cannot sync apps downloaded on phone.

It's been a month now and since the watch started behaving weirdly after the 5.1.1 update. It could only sync newly downloaded apps or watchfaces when forced to update using 'resync apps' on the android wear companion app. However, just recently it has stopped syncing altogether despite forcing it. Forcing it would only result in android wear losing connection to the watch. I'm currently using a sony xperia z3 with Android lollipop 5.1.1 installed (rooted). Is there anyway I can troubleshoot this? Thanks!

Note 5 - Facebook Calendar Sync

When I installed facebook, it asked me that Galaxy wants to access FB which I confirmed.
However in Note 4 - under accounts - facebook account there would be option for syncing facebook calendar and gallery with the device. In Note 5 under facebook account it just says sync contacts....where is the calendar sync option gone????

Any help???

Sync contacts in Exchange account?

Hello,
I have added my bank's Exchange Account in Email App,
While adding the account I unchecked Sync Contacts,
What will happen of I check (enable) Sync Contacts?

- only contacts saved in my exchange account will (Sync) to my device??
OR
- my mobile contacts will also Sync to my Exchange Account?

Unable to charge phone or sync with pc (rooted)

Hi everyone, firs of all i want to apologize if this has been answered in some other threads but i did my research and coulndt find any solutions to my problem, that being said, here we go!.

Few days ago i noticed that my phone was dead, I thought it had just run out of battery and plugged it to the power outlet, after 10 mins i realized that it wasnt charging at all and i did a soft reset by keeping the power button pressed and voila!! it came back to life it was charging again so i took it and plugged it into my computer and there is when everything started because my computer wasnt recognizing the phone anymore. I thought that it was just that one time and so i restarted the phone and re plugged it to the computer and this time it not only wasnt recognized by it but it was not charging again and ever since I've been trying all kinds of methods to have the computer recognize the phone (different pc, diferent usb cords, reinstalled drivers, reset phone to factory settings, everything). I did find out though that if i turn the phone off and back on it'll charge and if i do it again, it wont so its like a cycle thing but the being recognized by a pc i havent been able to fix it. Any ideas?

I am running stock ATT 4.2.2 JB rom but rooted.

[Q] Lenovo K3 Note - Stock ROM - Contacts won't sync with Google

Hello dear xda-developers!

I just received my Lenovo K3 Note and Flashed it back to the Stock Rom (VIBEUI_V2.5_1529_5_1063.1_ST_K50-TS after an Update) and installed Google Play store. After that I proceeded to install all the Google services and Apps I need.
Everything is working just fine except for the Contacts. When I open Contacts and go to the Account Settings, there is no Google Account. I cannot add a Google Account either, it only offers me WhatsApp.

If I go to Settings --> Accounts --> Google and select my Google Account, then I have the following Sync Options:
App Data, Calendar, Drive, Gmail, Google Fit data, People details
... but no Contacts :(

I've tried installing 3rd party Contact Apps and also deleting the app-data and cache of the "Contacts Manager" and "Contacts Storage" Apps, but all to no avail. VIBEUI just doesn't even give me the option of getting my Google Contacts.

Any Ideas? I'm really happy with the phone so far, but this needs to work :/

Thanks in advance for any help, but I really don't need workarounds, I know there are tons of ways to export/import contacts, but I use my Google Contacts on multiple devices and I need a way to keep them synced the way Google intended ;)

Google Contacts won't sync

Anyone had an issue with contacts in google account not syncing after the last OTA upgrade (5.1.1 0F8 Build)? All other sync (calendar, chrome, drive, gmail, App data) in google accounts work without issue. Contacts, however, have not synced successfully since 7/31/15. Manually syncing results in the sync circle spinning momentarily and then stopping. No errors, but no updates either. I've gone and cleared the cache a number of times but it hasn't resolved the issue. Any thoughts / solutions would be appreciated.

sms sync w/ iphone?

I bought 10.1 tab pro for my mom who also has an iphone. There's gotta be an app like mighty text that works with iOS.

Any recommendations that are very simple. She's old, and doing anything more complex then installing an app will cause problems.

time is out of sync in status bar, lock screen and home widget

The clock time is not correct in my status bar. It gets stuck at a fixed time while the time on my widget on home screen shows different time....and sometimes the time on widget is also wrong so I have check the time in my lock screen to check correct time..I am tagging screenshots if screen.

Facebook contacts picture sync?

Hi, I want to sync my contacts photos with Facebook. In the past I used HaxSync but it's not compatible with Android Lollipop 5.1.1 . Is there other apps or a way to use Facebook contacts picture for my contacts?

Google/Gmail sync after boot takes a long time

I got my G4 from BestBuy the first week of launch. I came from the G3, so I was able to move a lot over and it downloaded a lot of apps right off the back due to that. Anyway, pretty much from the beginning, I have had one major annoyance. While the G4 boots quickly (which is good), it seems to take a very long time to sync Gmail after it starts up. During the day, it is fine. It notifies of new Gmail messages instanteously. It is the initial boot where it takes it 5-10 minutes before it notifies me of Gmail, text messages, etc. The phone is booted up and running very quickly. It just seems like the first sync of the day takes a very long time.

Any ideas on what may be causing this? Maybe a rogue app that is tying up the the phone in some way?

Time gets out of sync.

It seems there is an issue getting the time from the network as my time has been getting a couple of minutes behind the past couple of days. I am not sure if it is the phone or my carrier. I am on Straight Talk AT&T in Philadelphia, PA, USA. I have to turn on and off airplane mode to reset it. Anyone having a similar problem? Thanks.
