WLAN not working properly only at home

Hi,

I'm facing this problem since 1-2 months which is really annoying:
I dont get Hangout, Instagram, Gmail, Whatsapp.. Notifications/Updates when I'm connected at my home WLAN. It's working everywhere else fine. I "forgot" the network on my Nexus 6 (5.1.1), resetted my modem from my ISP AND also bought and installed a new WLAN Router (Airport Extreme). Nothing helped.

My chromecast also stopped working and I cant connect it - also working fine at other locations/networks!

Does anybody know this problem and how to fix it? Would be awesome <3

Hi there.
Anybody find solution how to fast switch between running apps? It is annoying every time open up home screen and lunch apps again.
This is one of the thing why I'm planning to re flush my device to Android 5.1 or M.

Disable Home Key Awake Screen?

I've tried using Xposed and editing the text file (gpio-keys.kl) through root explorer, neither of them work. Does someone have a solution?

One M7 : Black screen, only green led and home buttons are "ON"

First of all, sorry for my english, i didn't practise for many years ^^
So, here we go :
'Got a regular HTC One M7, converted into a google play edition, 5.0.2, rooted and s-off, and twrp installed (for a couple of month now).
Yesterday, i came back from holidays, so i put my phone on a car support, and i used it as a gps (9 hours to come back, and use phone for 4 hours, but not in one time : 1 hour use, pause for 1 hour, 1 hour use...etc...) with maps.
All was ok, phone was hot but not "very very hot" (full sun in france ^^). When i was at home, i let it at house, and plug it from 23h to 09h this morning. I used it on 23h, playing game and surfing on web, then go to sleep. And this morning, alarm phone didn't ring, so i take my phone and see only a black screen, with green led and home / back button ON.
Try to reboot by many ways : 10 seconds on power button, 20sec, 1min....no way !! I just see home and back buttons flashing as long as i push on power button
Try to reboot with power button and vol + or vol -.....no way...
Plug it on my windows 7 64bits pc : just detect a cd drive with nothing else.....
Phone was out of guarantee, so what can i do ?
Is anyone already have the same problem ?

Elephone P7000 Unable to get the Home screen

I changed in the settings Home option into elephone emblem. but after that when i rebooted I can't use the phone since the screen just shows the Elephone emblem lighted up. It doesn't open the phone or go to sleep. i tried removing the battery and replaced it to turn on again. but the result is the same, can any one please help me to get my phone into the formal condition?

Hi, my phone has randomly decided to mix my home screens up so that now my main home screen is number 3 or so and the new main screen (house picture along bottom of screen) is a previously unused screen which is blank. So every time i turn my phone on i have to flick around to find my original home screen which is very slow and annoying. How do i re set the order of my screens so that my original one is the main (house picture) screen which appears whenever i use my phone? Thanks!

Home Security Third Party Apps!

Guys!! Are there any third party apps that will support this Honeywell Lynx Touch security system ( http://protectionplus.ca/programs-an...ages/wireless/ )? I am done with the app provided with Honeywell! It keeps on crashing!! Any other apps guys? :confused:

How do you go to Home screen when you unlock?

Is there any way to have the Turbo go to the Home screen after you unlock it instead of the Speed Dial screen? I've looked everywhere in settings and cannot find where it can be changed. If changing launcher is the only way I'll do that as somehow I keep butt dialing since the 5 upgrade.

I turn screen on, the running apps menu displays instead of home screen?

Okay, this is a little thing that for whatever reason is driving me bonkers. Bonkers I tell ya!

I recently updated to 5.1.1. Stock, but rooted and unlocked. I then installed xposed and some modules. I changed a lot, so it's hard to narrow down what is causing this.

When I turn my screen on, my main home screen should show up. You know the button on the bottom right that brings up a list of running apps? That's what shows up instead. So every time I turn on my screen, I need to hit the home button first. Bonkers I tell ya!

[Q] How can I root with a broken home button?

Hey all
I have my friends old sgs-i9305t which has a broken home button which I would like to root and possibly install a custom rom onto. This can be useful for my secondary sim when I travel.

Problem is, I cannot seem to connect to pc at all. So right now it can't reboot to download or recovery, and the adb methods for rooting aren't working as I can not currently connect even as a usb drive (yes this phone has likely gone through hell before I got my hands on it).

Maybe I should add, I am on Windows 10. But that didn't interfere with other devices I connected to this pc.

Anyone got any tips or solutions?

Status bar hidden on home screen. How to fix?

All of a sudden the status bar on my Galaxy S6 is hidden on the home screen. Any idea why/how to fix it?

I'm trying to setup my Mojo as full-featured media center android solution. Unfortunately, i'm struggling with two things that I can't figure out how to solve:

1. HDMI audio bitstreaming - is it possible on stock rom? Or it is possible only on CM 12? Is this software or hardware limitation?

2. Screen refresh rate change/screenmode change - is it possible to set screenmode like 1080p24 or 1080p23 on MOJO? Is it ever possible on ANY android device? I was looking for any generic solution but it looks like that Android doesn't support refresh rate change at all. This suprised me very much as android solutions seem to be very popular as media center/home cinema solutions... without any option to change refreshrate or colour output profile (RGB full, RGB limited or others) it makes the device worse than smart tv itself.

Home screen icons show green android robot?

I just flashed a new custom ROM (Resurrection Remix) and restored the Google now launcher from my titanium backup but the green android robot is appearing as the icon for some apps on the home screen (such as for WhatsApp and gmail).

I have tried clearing the cache, dalvik and reinstalling Google now launcher but it hasn't helped so far... I know I can drag and drop the icons from the app drawer but that would be a headache and i think something might be seriously wrong for the app icons to be displayed like this.

Any quick fix?

time is out of sync in status bar, lock screen and home widget

The clock time is not correct in my status bar. It gets stuck at a fixed time while the time on my widget on home screen shows different time....and sometimes the time on widget is also wrong so I have check the time in my lock screen to check correct time..I am tagging screenshots if screen.

CM12.1 Change home screen Note 3

Firstly I hope this is in the right section ?

I have a Samsung Note 3 which I have rooted and installed CM12.1 with TWRP

I really like CM12.1 (Lollipop 5.1.1) and I'm happy with it

I would like to know how to change the screen which is displayed, when the phone is asleep and you press the home button to wake up the phone, then you swipe the screen and it displays the phone screen with contacts and previous calls made. I want to change the screen displayed to the default home screen, which has the phone / messages / apps / browser / camera icons at the bottom of the screen

I have tried Google and XDA Forums with no luck :(

Can anyone help me with this one :confused:
