Note 5 day one, back already cracked

Day one at work and I already cracked the back of my note 5. I've watched videos of the teardown and it seems straight forward to replace, I'll just have to wait for some to come available.

Cracked Screen And I Can't Enter Pin Code - Remote PIN Change??

Hi Guys, today I managed to drop my phone, cracking my screen, and this now means I cannot type in my PIN number to access my phone. Also means I cannot back up all my info before sending the phone for repair/replacement.

I read it is possible to bypass/change the screenlock PIN, however I've not worked out how.

Can anyone assist on this???

Xperia Z2 - Battery Cover Cracked

I was having a great day yesterday, until my phone fell off the kitchen counter and landed on it's back.
Thank god the screen is perfectly okay, however the back is smashed completely.
I obviously want to get it repaired, but DIY, since there is no Sony Service Center in Pakistan.
I know how to do it myself (had repaired the class on my Xperia Z).
So I know, however I'm confused.

Does the back cover (of the Z2) have an NFC chip on the battery cover, or is it in the battery?

I was thinking of ordering THIS off Ebay, any opinions? Is this okay, or is there supposed to be a different one with an NFC thing on the back?

Any replies will be greatly appreciated. :)

Lava Iris Win1 Developer Unlocker Method To Install Paid Apps &Cracked Xaps

Today i will show you how to unlock your lava iris win1 and install unlimited xaps from pc.
You can relock your device at any time 😊
This method will not cause any harm to your device 99.99% your device will be safe if anything happens im not responsible.
Requirements:
Windows 7 pc
Student developer account
Windows 8.1 sdk tools

1st register a developer account with student id(you can submit any college or school identification that will work but you have to wait for 3-5 day i got it in 1 day)

Now install windows phone 8.1 sdk tools lite just 95 mb i think.

Connect your mobile to pc then go to device manager there you can see three yellow colour exclamation marks on lava.

You need to get usb drivers for lava iris win1 to do this i have two solutions

1) download Chinese tool. you will get by searching Chinese tool to unlock windows phone 8.1
after downloading install the software. for this you need connect internet and click blue button then disconnect internet then it will install quickly.
now connect your lava iris win1. do not launch the program it will not detect your device.
go to device manager right click on lava update driver manually select driver location manually >c program files > select Chinese
you can install two drivers that's enough for unlocking. but im not recommending this.

2) this is second way to install lava iris win 1 driver. download windows phone recovery tool.
the installation is bit tougher. 1st it will start downloading redistribution c++ then some some softwares like winusbconsoler etc if the installation is successful then you do need worry your drivers will install automatically after connecting your device.
if installation was failed then you need to download the softwares manually that windows phone recovery tool trying to download by google search. only 4 softwares needed to download total size will be like 20 mb. now clean pc cache and temp files then install these 4 softwares exactly the same order that windows phone recovery tool trying to install. now this program will install fine.

Finally you got connected your device to pc.
Chinese tool will not detect your device because it was made for lumia devices.
check your email for message from Microsoft that you have successfully registered for developer account.
now connect your phone open windows developer registration
connect internet click register login using your developer account.
it will not show successfully unlocked but it will show some error like ipoverusb do not panic you have been successfully unlocked your device you have close the window disconnect your phone and reconnect open development registration it will show your device has been unlocked for development. you can unregistered at any time to relock your device. now download xaps or build your own xaps then deploy to phone using windows phone app deplore comes with windows phone sdk tools lite.

This method will allow you to install only two xaps.
If you want to install unlimited xaps then simply move those xaps to sd card using storage sense switch off your phone remove the sd card now turn it on connect to pc install two more now turn it off insert sd card turn it on move the xaps turn it off remove the sd card again do the same.

i have installed nfs hot pursuit,moliplayer pro,idm pro for background downloads,metro tube.

i heard the news that we are not getting windows phone 10. did any one anything about it?

Cracked Screen and Rooted

My screen is cracked on my Galaxy Note Pro 12.1 and it is rooted. I have the Verizon LTE version, but I do not have a data plan. Obviously, I have to pay out of my pocket to fix the screen. Does anyone know if Samsung will replace my screen, if my device is rooted? Thanks for the help.

I've recently purchased xperia Z Ultra C6802 smartphone and some how screen got cracked I'm unable to use and want to replace the screen with original quality Please guide me to provide best possible solution with minimum amount expense I'm waiting for your reply

Screen is not cracked but has a block of black on it, what needs to be fixed?

My galaxy s5 fell, the screen itself is perfect but like there is a patch of black on it . what may be the problem?

Cracked the glass part of my screen, is it worth repairing?

I know that these threads exist for other phones and such but couldn't find one for my s3 that fits the current timeline. I dropped my phone from my pocket while walking and only cracked the glass part of the screen. Touchscreen works fine, there aren't any damages done to the actual screen part, I believe only the gorilla glass is cracked. Service wants 0-0 to repair it but judging by the current phones that are out there is it worth repairing it? I could sell the phone for the parts at around 0-0 and add up money to buy something like a Z2. What are your thoughts about this?

Cracked screen

I recently dropped my g2 and cracked my screen. Screen is still working except a small part. The problem is my phone is heating up a lot. Could it be from the screen. If replace the will that do the job or there could be something else wrong.
Just thot someone could share their experience
Also the phone is now losing battery quickly and charging slowly probably due to the heating.
It only heats up at the top where the motherboard is located espeacially where you connect the touchscreen. Also the screen crack is also at e top just next to the speaker.
