My HTC 8x Camera Not working Black Screen

I reseted my phone and installed some apps and i launched camera it only load 3 icons :
video
to take pictures
and burst photo
and no more icons only black screen
After 30 seconds or less it take me back to home screen i tryed hard reset everything and no help
please help me :) :crying:

Help needed - Black Camera after restore

It's the LTE-A version of Z3C (D5803), which shows the following issue:

What I've done so far:

Open Bootloader on all of our 5 Z3C.
Installed this ROM:

Rooted phone
Installed recovery and SuperSU
Then configured installed and configured all apps on NO1-"prototype" where everything works fine up to now.
Then entered recovery and did complete backup onto SD1.
Entered recovery on all other 4 Z3C and did a complete restore.

On all 4 copies the camera app will open but only with total black screen while the original (first one) works normally. Tried to get rid of this issue by changing settings, delete all camera data and even transfer the camera apps via Titanium Backup separately from the working prototype to one of the copies - unfortunately without any success.

How can I resolve this problem?

LG G4 Black Leather Out of Stock?

Anyone who recently ordered LG G4 Black Leather from Verizon and still not receiving it?

I ordered Aug 17. Called CS several times and was told it is backordered, but it still shows in stock on verizonwireless.com?

Black screen on android

After i resized the boot animation with rom toolbox pro,the only thing i took after reboot the device was black screen,what i must do???please help! I Have a china phone i tried factory reset by still black screen.

One M7 : Black screen, only green led and home buttons are "ON"

First of all, sorry for my english, i didn't practise for many years ^^
So, here we go :
'Got a regular HTC One M7, converted into a google play edition, 5.0.2, rooted and s-off, and twrp installed (for a couple of month now).
Yesterday, i came back from holidays, so i put my phone on a car support, and i used it as a gps (9 hours to come back, and use phone for 4 hours, but not in one time : 1 hour use, pause for 1 hour, 1 hour use...etc...) with maps.
All was ok, phone was hot but not "very very hot" (full sun in france ^^). When i was at home, i let it at house, and plug it from 23h to 09h this morning. I used it on 23h, playing game and surfing on web, then go to sleep. And this morning, alarm phone didn't ring, so i take my phone and see only a black screen, with green led and home / back button ON.
Try to reboot by many ways : 10 seconds on power button, 20sec, 1min....no way !! I just see home and back buttons flashing as long as i push on power button
Try to reboot with power button and vol + or vol -.....no way...
Plug it on my windows 7 64bits pc : just detect a cd drive with nothing else.....
Phone was out of guarantee, so what can i do ?
Is anyone already have the same problem ?

Trying to recover data after XT1096 5.1 black screen bug

So I encountered this bug about 2 days ago. It's basically a bug that results in an un-responsive black screen for no apparent reason. I tried all the standard support protocols to save my data (i.e. copy files to pc via USB, and using Cellebrite to pull them off) but without MTP or USB Debugging enabled none of these options worked. Both Verizon and Motorolla tech support advised me to factory reset my phone. However being that a reset will wipe all my data, I've refused to go down that path (yet). So after doing some of my own research I came up with the following ideas, which so far have not been successful.

Idea 1 - use adb to sideload an OTA update with a fresh image that will hopefully resolve the black screen bug but not wipe my data. I followed this thread with partial luck. I got about 47% through the sideload process before it crashed complaining about an invalid full image check

Idea 2 - use fastboot to flash all the images except user data (again with the hopes of resolving the black screen bug without losing data) - But I can't seem to find a compatible set of stock images that will play nicely with my unrooted and locked bootloader phone.

Idea 3 - root my phone, load a custom rom (with no black screen bug) and preserve my user data - unfortunately mofo doesn't support an XT1096 root since I've already accepted the 5.1 OTA.

So my question are:
1 - Are there a set of verizon stock digitally signed images anywhere out there that will work with my XT1096 with 5.1 already installed?
if not
2 - Is there any way to root my phone or unlock the bootloader so that I can accept non-factory images without the use of Mofo?

Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

Phone Stuck at "Samsung Galaxy S3 Gt i9300 black text

Hello everyone. I have a problem with my s3 if I install a custom ROM with Android 4.3 or others with 4.4.4 with some of these Rom the phone will lock in the home screen "Samsung GT i9300 galaxy s3" white writing.It is strange because only some Rom make this and unfortunately with my favorite rom.

The Roms are all compatible .. installations are clean .. after I also try to do a factory reset but goes anyway. help me please

After LG Logo, Black Screen, LED, dont BOOT

Stuck on Black screen, led changing colors, and nothing heppens.

D805 on 20h Stock, rooted, twrp.

Normal Reboot to activate App Settings in xposed, and that heppend.

Can't enter on TWRP, tried different key combinations.

Can't enter Download mode, when I try it goes to LG logo and then charging screen.

Any ideas?

Snapchat black videos issues

Hey,
Since a couple of days, I've got this bug on snapchat :
When a friend send me a video, I open it, the screen goes black and all I've to do is kill the app to get back in it. (For information, the friend is not trolling me, because there isn't any timer circle).
I got another bug too, when a video appear on instagram, it doesn't load, I've got the same issue on 9gag with the gifs.
Does anyone have the same issues? I read a lot on this problem but I only found some 2013 topics on xda forums.
Just for information I tried to re-install the app, but it doesn't change anything.
I'm running a oneplus one, without changes. (Not flashed, ...)

Black Screen, Blinking Red and Blue LED after boot

Hi all,
Before someone says it, yes I did look around for other threads before posting one of my own. I was not able to find the problem that I am having, nor a working solution.
I am currently running CM12.1 on a Sprint G3 (LS990). This morning, I woke up and found that my phone had frozen while charging overnight. No problem, this has happened before, so I unplugged it and pulled the battery out and rebooted. It was working fine, and then I noticed an update for CM. I hit download, and went to go brush my teeth. When I came back, I saw that it had frozen mid-download. Now it wasn't installing anything; the CM built in updater was just downloading the latest nightly. I waited 5 minutes for it to become responsive, but it never happened so I pulled the battery once again.

Now when I held the power button to start my phone, I saw the LG splash screen as normal. After that, the screen went dark and the LED began blinking red and blue. No matter how many times I pulled the battery to reset my phone, this would occur. I attempted to enter Recovery mode, but in this case after the splash screen the LED would briefly light up blue, and then the phone would reboot, and the cycle would repeat. The same would occur when I tried to boot into download mode.

So now that I cannot boot into anything at all, I assume that my phone is bricked. It is still covered under the limited manufacturer warranty, and since I can't boot up at all I assume it doesn't matter that it is rooted, but before I contact LG I would like to see if anyone here has any ideas.

Deep Black Edition (fake leather) ROM compatibility

is this "deep black" (as it is called in europe), the version with this fake leather backside, also compatible with roms?
I find it listed as "deep black" or "deep black VF" , but without version number. It has the dual core, but a larger screen.

Black screen

I broke my phone and just received a new one from the Geek Squad. Two things. When I make a phone call the screen immediately goes black and won't come back on until I push the on button on the back. Really sucks, hard to end call. Also when it times out I have a really hard time getting the screen to light up again. Some times it takes 8 to 10 times pushing the on button and swiping the screen. Any ideas?

Unresponsive random black screen. Help?

So I searched a lot before finally making up my mind and posting g my problem.
Currently I'll be using my phone and it randomly screen gos back and then a notification vibrates like a text message. Then no buttons work no lights or notification light is on.
Here are logs and screens of my configuration.

I had to cut off the beginning of the logcat but the crash is at the end before the restart.

I'm not good at reading logs.

So why, when I generate the apk in android studio and install it on my phone, do I get a blank black screen.

NEED HELP - Android gone black

Moto X 2014: unrooted with bootloader unlocked. It's running Stock 5.1 and I haven't messed with anything on it. I gave it to my Dad after a few months of using it, so I factory reset it and gave it to him, 2 weeks later he tells me it has stopped working. It boots up normally, but from then on it is black, I can access minor parts of the OS such as the power off menu, the camera (by shaking) and Moto Display, but everything else doesn't work. I have never seen anything like this before, and I am well accustomed to flashing custom ROMs and rooting Android. If it comes down to it I will factory reset it or flash stock, but I can't even plug it into my PC and retrieve any files. Anyone have any idea whats gone wrong?
