MMS Not Working SMS and Hangouts Are Fine

I am having a very weird issue. Running a rooted 5.1.1 (build LMY47Z) Nexus 6. I recently began encountering issues with sending MMS. SMS and Hangout messages work just fine. At first, some messages would not come through and I would have to download them. However, now, no messages come in and I cannot send any MMS group messages.

I have tried disabling the recent update, switching to the native messaging app, clearing the cache and data for the app, and reinstalling the updates, but nothing has worked. :mad:

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Hangouts

Anyone else having issues with notifications on hangouts? My mom had no issues this morning when I traded it in now I don't get notifications unless I open the app

hangouts don't work

When I press the icon on the watch face the green circle just keeps spinning.
I can reply (using voice) to the incoming message after notification pops up, but I can not "view conversation" - screen flickers as if trying to open a window and stays the same.
Works fine on the connected phone.
Anyone else?

Google Hangouts Issue (Camera Zoom)

I have been experiencing issues with Hangouts lately. Anytime that I make a video call connection, the person I am talking to can see me and displays a full frame of what my camera sees. However, all I see is a zoomed in frame of their camera. There is no settings within the app to adjust the camera zoom that I am aware of. It appears that the issue lies in my phone and not theirs since I get the same result regardless of whether they are using Win10, Win8, iPhone, or other Android.

Any suggestions?

Hangouts 4.0 how do you switch between SMS and hangouts on one contact

I like using hangouts for my T-Mobile SMS.
I go the new hangout 4.0 today. I can't figure out how to pick which method a message is sent to a contact that has both SMS and Hangouts in their contact info. It seems like you must message them based on what ever the last incoming message was.. either SMS or hangouts..

Anyone?

Hangouts not working with new update

Just updated the hangouts app, and as soon as I open the app it gives me the error "No connection couldn't connect to server"
It won't even let me into the app.
Has anyone found a fix?

Hangouts cant send MMS

I can send MMS through Samsung's default messaging app, but they won't send through Hangouts. Has anyone else found this and been able to fix it?

Hangouts notifications don't work, won't get new messages when screen off

Hi,

after resetting my phone to factory defaults and doing new installation, I won't get notifications of new Hangouts messages.

They also don't appear as arriving in background, they are only refreshed when I open Hangouts and the converstaion.

I put Hangouts into trusted applications, allowed running on background etc..

I have never had this problem, other notifications like FB Messenger gmail etc work ok.

Also, when i try to open Notifications settings in Hangouts app, I get a force close.

Any idea?

I made a dookie and erased my internal storage :eek:. Can anyone be so kind as to post the .ogg files for the Hangouts Message, Hangouts Ringtone, and Calendar Notification?
