I actually did this last night because I was bored and stupid and wanted to see if the s-pen would fit in backwards, and it got stuck. It took a fair bit of wiggling to get it back out, and now the pen detector won't see that the pen is there (no more screen-off memos). I'm headed to Verizon when they open here in an hour to see how they intend to fix this, because this is just a horrible design flaw. Since I'm sure I won't be the only one dumb enough to do this, I'll report back with how Verizon handles the situation.

How to fix my phone stuck in boot mode and volume buttons don,t work ?

I use a huawei y220 u00 after installing fake windows 8 and i switched it off i switched it back on but its stuck in boot mode and i can hard reset on startup because volume buttons chip broke

How did a tablet don't get broke? I'm really impressed about it, mostly on the screen case. My parents aren't taking a big care of my electronic devices, so when I leave them on the table and no one uses them, they decide to save them on a case, and then, one by one my family keeps adding things over the tablet's screen, such as books, notebooks and/or small laptops, and those remain where they were at least 1 day, and the screen keeps untouched, seems like new tablet's screen.

It's a Chinese tablet, a Polaroid crappy AllWinnner ones... it's resistance is incredible.

So I want to know... How do they do that? My MTK phone screen's got yellowish (broken) after 7 drops from 1 to 2 metres and running on the air (I know it's a really huge height to throw something from, but that happened from a "selfie" stick).

hangouts don't work

When I press the icon on the watch face the green circle just keeps spinning.
I can reply (using voice) to the incoming message after notification pops up, but I can not "view conversation" - screen flickers as if trying to open a window and stays the same.
Works fine on the connected phone.
Anyone else?

After LG Logo, Black Screen, LED, dont BOOT

Stuck on Black screen, led changing colors, and nothing heppens.

D805 on 20h Stock, rooted, twrp.

Normal Reboot to activate App Settings in xposed, and that heppend.

Can't enter on TWRP, tried different key combinations.

Can't enter Download mode, when I try it goes to LG logo and then charging screen.

Any ideas?

Equalizers don't work

I can't figure out why music equalizer apps don't work for me. I have a stock G2 (D801), and I've tried multiple EQs. None of them seem to do anything since I upgraded to Lollipop. I have a music player with an internal EQ that does change sound, but only inside the app.

I don't know if this is a Lollipop issue, or because I'm rooted, or using GravityBox, if it's DorimanX, or what. Anybody with any of these able to get an EQ to work for stuff like Spotify?

Moto G don't find a network

I'm having a problem with my Moto G. When I turn on the wifi, I can see all network around me, but my network I can't see. I think it's not a problem with my router 'cause my notebook and my other smartphone can see and connect normally, only my Moto G can't see this network.

I'm using CM 12.1 (12082015) stock kernel, my other smart, that can see and connect to the network, is running CM 12.1 too...

Anyone can help me?

Do all the unofficial ROMs require root?

I'm currently running Archidriod 1.x on my rooted S3 but I have an unrooted S3 here, and would like to try a few ROMs on that see if I can get it to be more responsive. It's currently heavy with default Samsung/Vodafone bloat.

Hangouts notifications don't work, won't get new messages when screen off

Hi,

after resetting my phone to factory defaults and doing new installation, I won't get notifications of new Hangouts messages.

They also don't appear as arriving in background, they are only refreshed when I open Hangouts and the converstaion.

I put Hangouts into trusted applications, allowed running on background etc..

I have never had this problem, other notifications like FB Messenger gmail etc work ok.

Also, when i try to open Notifications settings in Hangouts app, I get a force close.

Any idea?

I tried to dirty flash XtreStoLite 2.2 from 2.0, but I got a bootloop, so restored to 2.0.

But I got so many things on my phone that it takes an hour or two to set up, so is there any way to update without doing a factory reset every time an upgrade is available?

Root 5.1.1 - Dont care about tripping KNOX

I'm on the newest OTA of 5.1.1, and I want to root and don't really care about KNOX anymore. I just want to do so without wiping my phone or losing any data; custom ROMs are out of the question.
PignPong and Chainfire don't work for 5.1.1, the non-KNOX tripping solution breaks vital features, so I'm wondering if there is another way.

multirom automatically injected encrptyion password and i don't know what it is...

Recently installed multirom to run M preview as a secondary rom... Now I can't boot up my phone cause its asking for encryption password and I don't know what it is... My phones security is 3x3 pattern... how do i boot into the device without having to wipe the entire phone?

"debranding" the g920f with odin dont work

hello guys,

yesterday i bought a galaxy s6 (g920f). it got the 1&1 branding but its simlock free. i just read about, that i can use this fw G920FXXU1AOE3_G920FDBT1AODQ_G920FXXU1AOE3_HOME.tar (5.02), flash it with odin, after that a wipe and than update to 5.1.1 with smartswitch. than i got a complete debranded dbt firmware.

ok, thought it would be easy ;P - a ran in conflicts now. odin got errors on flashing. every time it failed flashing. i read about the "hidden.img". i should extract the firmwarefile with 7zip, delete the hidden.img and after that i have to make a new .tar (not tar.md5, cause i will get md5 errors in odin, already tested :P) - still fail on flashing....

than i found a pit file, but i dont know how to handle that. i never done that and dont know, whats happening when im flashing it and i dont even know which i have to download.

Just got a new OnePlus One from the box.
i got him with cm 11s 4.4.4 .
Everything worked just fine...
After updating to CM 12S or CM12.1 or OxygenOS 1.0
The screen doesn't go off during calls..
It really annoying and i wonder how to fix that.
