I have tired a 10 port powered USB Port it did not work with MOJO, I also tried a small non-powered 4 port hub that need not work... (I used the 2.0 USB port on the back of the MOJO) PLEASE ADVISE or Re-Direct me in the right direction :eek:

How to port Lollipop TouchWiz rom

Hi there everyone

I'm actually willing to create a custom rom which is based on GT-I9500 lollipop and ported SM-N910C lollipop.
I searched and tried to learn my self but didn't succeed, then I decided to try to get some help from you here, hopefully I get the required help to create my custom rom and also be able to understand any issue coming over and solve it.

I found guides to port kitkat rom and cyanogenmod based rom which are unfortunately don't match my request.

It would be much appreciated if anyone would spend some of his time to teach me, and I have the full desire to learn

Note 3 Neo Port Rom (works k zoom)

Hi brothers. As you know, Samsung has announced it will not update for Galaxy K zoom. I started looking for a new custom ROM for my phone. And I found a custom ROM. Obviously I have not fully tested this custom ROM. But as I see Dolby feature is not working. suggest pro deleted in the camera options. Other features fine, rom is stable, there are plenty of good options. I've used TWRP ROM for installation. Full System format, then take before I took full backup. i need a CWM recovery for my device
i found a device same as my device (coolpad/yulong f1 plus ) but with minor difference like name ,model etc
it is from the same manufacturer there are 6 version available 3 of MTK and 3 of qualcomm based chipset
i tried to flash recovery which was for f1 plus but it soft bricked my phone or something else all it was showing was bootloader mode
somehow i managed to flash stock recovery via bootloader mode using a batch program developed by cool community which was for flashing recovery on f1 plus
then i decided to port recovery by myself but there is no guide for porting recovery for qualcomm device using windows (as i don't possess linux or ubuntu os)
please help me out
and please tell me if i missed something

Car Mode / Charge Port Issues

I'm about to go insane over this issue.

FYI im running DH's GPE 8-3-15

Something seems to be wrong with either my software or the charge port hardware. The phone gets put into "car mode" randomly, sometimes unplugged but more often plugged in. Some charge cords seem to do it more than others but sometimes and on some cords i can't reproduce the problem no matter how hard i try and no matter how much i move the connector around, then sporadically sitting on the desk it goes into car mode!

I've tried cleaning the port with a dental pick and canned air with what i thought was success for about a day but then back to car more it goes. I've tried removing or disabling anything related to car mode or sense. When going into car mode it will sometimes display the car mode notification icon and it will usually turn on an ambient display/clock.

Does anyone know how to kill car mode in regard to how android is getting a signal from the charge port to go into care mode?

does anyone know how the charge port does this electrically? i read some place that the charge port might have some sort of magnetic sensor that car docks use.


I'm very familiar with troubleshooting technical issues and not being able to reliably reproduce the issue but then having it be so bad that i can barely use the phone make me go insane!

It's originally released to the Z3 but both devices are identical.

G900f charging port on g900v?

I have a G900F charging port in stock (for the S5) and I have a customer with a G900V (Verizon S5) and I was wondering if these charging ports might be interchangeable. They look similar enough, but I don't even want to try it not knowing for sure what will happen.

Hey guys,
I was researching yesterday about other phones with the same res and chip for a cm port maybe. Then I finally found the SONY XPERIA E3. This phone has the same resolution of the US variant of the desire 610 (480*854) and houses a snapdragon 400. And the XPERIA E3 has an unofficial build of cm12. I'm no dev, but we already have slimkat (i belive you already need a custom rom to port) and the E3 has the same specs (res and chip) AND CM12. So if there is any dev that knows how to port, please give it a shot. We already have a 4.4.4 rom, and I would love to see cm12 on our device. And if there is a dev who is willing to port it, take your time.
