Facebook messenger error! Could not start messenger?

Ok facebook messenger does work but as soon as I leave the app and try to access it again from the multitasking window, I get that dialogue message that says could not start messenger. This happens literally any time the app is accessed from the multitasking button. I've tried easy stuff like clearing the app cache, uninstalling/reinstalling, etc. Any suggestions on this?

For troubleshooting I tried

Disabled 2FA on google account
Removed account from other device
rest app settings
sign in via multiple apps, contacts, playstore, youtube, add accounts et cetera
Enabled Backup my data and automatic restore
Connected via VPN
Update system software

Nothing worked so I did a factory reset. Now the part of the initial setup that is supposed to add a google account gets stuck on

"Couldn't sign in
Can’t establish a reliable connection to the server"

But I really mean stuck, there are no buttons on the screen, no possibility to slide down the task bar or go to home screen because this is happening as part of the initial setup steps. Volume and power buttons work so I can turn it off and turn it on again after which it enters the initial setup and the same thing happenes again as there is no option to skip this step or skip set up as a whole.

There are quite a few google results for

"Couldn't sign in
Can’t establish a reliable connection to the server"

But they all involve interacting with options and settings which I can not do. How can I boot the phone without it launching the initial setup process?

When I had the one m7 you could flash different radio versions

I was wondering if you could do the same for the m9. Currently I have a sim unlocked t-mobile m9 while using AT&T and I cannot get LTE to work properly. I was wondering if they were different radio versions I could try to see if an older or newer radio can fix this.

Hey guys,
I was researching yesterday about other phones with the same res and chip for a cm port maybe. Then I finally found the SONY XPERIA E3. This phone has the same resolution of the US variant of the desire 610 (480*854) and houses a snapdragon 400. And the XPERIA E3 has an unofficial build of cm12. I'm no dev, but we already have slimkat (i belive you already need a custom rom to port) and the E3 has the same specs (res and chip) AND CM12. So if there is any dev that knows how to port, please give it a shot. We already have a 4.4.4 rom, and I would love to see cm12 on our device. And if there is a dev who is willing to port it, take your time.

Could not verify update

I have the D5803 running 5.0.2 (stock rooted) and it recently got an OTA but after the download it says "Could not verify update" is there a way to fix this?

[Q] Could not do normal boot

Okay, I have searched around by only found solutions for the US variant. I have the Snapdragon Note 4. And flashed the Exynos TWRP by accident. I cannot get my PC to recognise my phone now, as it only boots into Odin mode. If I turn it off and charge, it goes to Odin. Booting up it goes "booting recovery" then odin mode. I have tried with several wires and several ports on Windows 7, 8.1 and 10. No luck on Linux either. Port is fine as no problems charging. Anyway to make it boot without it booting to recovery as I installed via an app and clicked "reboot to recovery" so it's stuck in a loop. O2 could not help as their systems could not pick up the phone. Please suggest. Reinstalling Drivers and changing ports is silly as I've been told this for the last 3 weeks

I had my battery do an extreme drop again, over the period of a few hours..... only this time on my NEW battery.... i thought my really old battery was the problem before.

For some reason also, when i looked at my phone, thne glanced at my pc's time, my phones time was off by almost an hour. When i initially looked at it the time said noon then quickly switched to 2pm right on the lock screen. but then a couple minutes later i did airplane mode for a second, and the time clicked back.... but the battery meter said i had good reception the whole time?? I dont get it....

This is also puzzling since i did a full factory reset and reflashed less than a week ago, and i dont even have much on there yet.

Messed up Bad! Hoping someone could help me out

So I had tried to backup my files on my phone via airdroid file transfer to PC. The ZIP was corrupted so I deleted it off my computer. And was planning to back up later...I then reformatted my computer (Win 7). Now this weekend I dropped my phone in the river and need to see if I can recover that airdroid backup and fix the archive to get some of beloved pictures and videos back. Can someone please help! I am desperate!

As you can see, all it does is dump the first 200MB of it to a file, so you don't have to download that if you can give me the image. ;) I really don't want to have to ship this thing back and wait.

You can just cut and paste this into a terminal if that's easier:

I got a fresh Moto X from AT&T with 5.0.1 on it and was wondering if I can downgrade and unlock? Every android I had I enjoyed the comfort of unlocking and rooting. I need that again.
