Problem with turning on

Hey guys.

When i turn on my Desire 510 it's just a HTC logo and the screen turn off and on all over again. When i want to go to recovery mode i have a red triangle in the middle. What's the problem?

How to prevent turning screen on by arm gesture?

Is it possible not to turn screen on when I rise my hand? When I ride bike the watch turns screen on rather frequently and it causes huge battery drain. Of course, I can enable theater mode but the watch stops notify of calls, messages, etc (vibration I mean). Is there any way to disable the gesture and have notifications at the same time (tasker, autowear, ...)?

Google services WiFi scanning keeps turning on

So I've noticed this issue where after a few hours or a few days, the location wifi scanning option under settings/WiFi/advanced keeps turning back on oven though I turned it off. Running stock not rooted from Google.
Any clues as to why this is happening or how to fix it?

Phone Turning off by itself.

So I have this weird issue with my HTC ONE M7 for a few days now. It would turn off by its own when I was using it but I'd just turn it on and it will work again. I thought it may have something to do with a bad app or the rom might be acting up. Anyway I ignored it since turning it on was a minor inconvenience and I needed my phone functional. Today whilst using GPS, the phone suddenly went dead on me. Every time I boot it up, it passes the initial HTC screen but then doesn't boot into android. The screen goes black and the phone turns off by itself. I went it recovery, wiped dalvik and cache thinking it was an app causing a boot issue but that didn't help. The problem continued. I already had a backup so I went ahead and tried restoring it. It worked the first time. But the phone still won't boot. It would turn off automatically. Then I tried reflashing it with the backup. This time the phone would just turn off as soon as the restore process started. I finally got tired of it and decided to reflash with a new rom. The flash went fine. But lo and behold the same issue again. Boot animation and then black screen with the phone completely turned off.
I thought it might be the battery so I plugged it in to my laptop USB. It booted but when i was setting up android, it would just shut down again. Then I connected it to the wall socket thinking the phone will get more juice. This time around I was able to set it up. With the phone connected to the wall socket all was working splendidly. Please note that during all this time the phone was at 100% and there were no drastic falls in the battery levels.
As soon as I disconnect the phone from power, any power intensive operation shuts it down. I have been in recovery mode for 2 hours now and the battery hasn't even dropped by 3%.
So the question is, What the hell is going on? Is it the battery, is it phone's hardware or is it a software issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cuz if it's something that can't be fixed, I have to start thinking about getting a new phone then. THANKS so much for bearing with me! Cheers!!

Turning an android into an FTP?

Hi All,

I am currently working on something, which sounds simple in some respects.

I need my spare android phone to act as an FTP Server - Easy enough done on a LAN, but I need to make it accessible across the internet, as I need to get a service I use to send files to my phone via FTP (its a long story, but the service can only email large files automatically, and they exceed the average 25mb size limit - or they can FTP - no other transfer method is available). I also need to use my mobile, as all the internet access I have whilst on the move is via my mobile, and I cannot setup the network at home to do port redirect, so its basically the phone has to be the ftp server (and seemingly the router)

Rather than buying an FTP and webspace, I have read up on a few things that can be done. I have downloaded "My FTP Server" and set that up on my device, which is accessible over the LAN. I then downloaded Port Forwarder, and configured the incoming port, redirect outgoing port and the loopback IP of my phone to direct traffic.

I then signed up to http://freedns.afraid.org/ and created a subdomain, which when I input the current IP Address of my device on the Internet, resolves correctly, so it can see the IP correctly.

Theoretically, I can see no reason why this is failing. I appreciate the limitations are the network will by default disable ICMP Ping requests, and the IP address is Dynamic (though I can change it on demand as and when I need the files!) but beyond that, I cannot see what to do here.

Anyone got any suggestions?

The device is as follows:

Landvo L900
Dual Sim, 3G and 2G
Android 4.2.2
Device is rooted

I appreciate any advice you can offer!

Battery drain when turning wifi or Data on after airplane mode

Hello experts,
I've been using my trusted S II for several years, when only half a year ago I rooted it and installed NeatROM on it (jellybean). Even before the rooting, probably after upgrading to the official jellybean, I was experiencing the following scenario:

I put the phone on airplane mode when I fly, or simply turn off both Wifi and Data (over 3g cellular network), so to reduce the battery consumption when I go to bed and don't want to be woken up by texts at 3am. I also turn off Sync option so that different apps (like gmail or calendar) won't wake up the device and try to connect to the internet every minute (and fail).

Then after a long period I turn on Data or wifi, and then - BOOM - a massive drain of the battery, which is accompanied by sluggishness in responses to me pressing the screen or even pulling down the status bar. It is as if all the apps that need an internet uplink - Facebook, Messenger, Whatsapp - wake up at once and try to get online together.

Does anyone else experiences this kind of effect? Is there a way to fix that?

Thanks in advance.

LG G4 Screen turning Off

Hi I have the LG G4 H815 Unlocked version and I have a 9H tempered glass protector on it, my question which I hope someone can answer is when I get phone calls or even make calls, the screen goes off and I am unable to get it back on to end the call, even the power button on the back doesn't turn it on so I am unable to use the touchscreen during calls or end the call.

Could it be the tempered glass, I have a Genuine G4 Quick Circle case on it also. I can't remember if it did this prior to me putting on the tempered glass but I don't want to take it off incase it doesn't fix the issue and I have wasted my Tempered Glass!

Any help would be appreciated.

Lock screen not turning off unless I do it manually (5.1.1)

I am not sure if this is a bug with 5.1.1 or not. I tried searched before coming here to post, but I haven't come across a solution yet.

Anyways, my phone doesn't have power saver on, smart stay is off, and I have my security set to fingerprint unlock.

To the issue at hand - My screen doesn't automatically time out if I press the home button or the power button to turn on my screen. In order for the screen to turn off, I have to manually press the power button. Otherwise, the screen just stays on and drains my battery. This wouldn't be too much of an issue if my butt didn't always press the home button while the phone was my pocket.

I'd really hate to factory reset or flash another rom, as I just finished installing all of my apps and whatnot after a phone replacement. However if that is the only option to fix this problem, then I'm okay with doing so.

Thanks ahead of time for reading!
