Just a question about porting Sense 6-7

Hi guys,

I have question:

Why any developer doesn't ported any ROM like Sense 7 ? Beacuse I think that there are like 10 ROMs with same features and looking the same stock Android. I tested all the ROMs available and I don't found any unqiue outstanding features. Without gapps all the ROMs have the same performance and the same stock apps execpt CM but there are just stock modified with little features compard with Sense 7 or touchwiz. I know that you will say that Sense 7 has bloatware but isn't to much to slow down the phone or anything and some options from Sense 7 are useful and more beautiful apps than stock google apps like browser (heavy), or music, dialer, contacts etc... and I know that you will say why I don't make a port: the answer is simple: I don't know how. I don't have any knowledge about how porting works or anything even with tutorials.

So, I am asking if any developer/ users will be interested to install/port Sense 7 or another OEM software to our Moto G.

from 4.4.3 to 5.0.2 sense Wifi can't turn on

sorry guys,i do the search,but i didn't get anything like my case
here're my problem

i come from 4.4.3 rom, i'dont know how many firmware i've missed before 4.24.709.2
but i only flash a firmware 4.24.709.2
and now i'm having problem using 5.0.x with no wifi and hotspot,the wifi just won't turn on

i'm only s-on, so i can't flash back the firmware

i don't know what to do now

Recovering to Sense - Which is the right ROM ?

The Phone is from UK/Virgin Mobile, I unlocked the bootloader and flashed this ROM unaware that my banking app would stop working.

I did the mistake not to make a backup before flashing the custom ROM, I would like to recover to stock but I'm not sure how to go about it,
I tried using RUU_M8_WHL_L50_SENSE60_SPCS_MR_Sprint_WWE_4.25.651 .14_Radio_1.09.20.0209_NV_SPCS_1.52_003_release_42 6232_signed_2 2 which I downloaded here: http://www.htc.com/us/support/rom-downloads.html but it failed ( ERROR [132]: Signature Error ).

Stock Rom -> CM12 with TA Backup.. Making sense of all the Guides :)

I have for the last few days been reading though a lot of posts on this forum containing guides for howto root, backup TA, unbrick and installing custom ROM etc.
I must say, I am getting a little confused, because they there seems to be a lot of different guides and methods, some seems old and (perhaps) outdated, some are very easy and other very complex in comparason.

So, please forgive me, but I would just like some advice on the current best and easiest way of performing what I plan.
I am getting both a Z3 Compact Tablet Wifi (Hence why I am posting on this forum) and a Z3 Compact Phone. So both Stock ROM and locked bootloader.

For the Tablet I would like to Backup TA, Unlock Bookloader and install CM12 w/ Google Apps Nano (Or what the smallest GA Package is)
For the Phone I would like to Backup TA, Unlock Bootloeader and Install CM12 (No Google Apps).

But First a General Question:

I get the impression that on some versions of the Tablet, the bootleader cannot be unlocked? (ref: http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-t...ction-t3091763 -- "Please note! It will only be possible to unlock the boot loader for certain releases of this model. You can check if it is possible to unlock the boot loader of your device by checking the service menu.")

If this is true, is there any way of telling when I am buying if I am getting an "unlockable" tablet?

From what I've gathered, the steps are roughly as follows:

1) Put device in USB debugging mode and Install USB drivers (Fastboot for instance)
2) Place SuperSU on a SD Card
3) Install Dual Receovery "TabZ3C-lockeddualrecovery[VERSION]-RELEASE.installer.zip" as pr: http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-t...ry-qa-t3014211
4) TA Backup as pr: http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-t...ction-t3091763
5) Unlock Bootloader, also as pr: http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-t...ction-t3091763
6) Flash " TabZ3C-lockeddualrecovery[VERSION]-RELEASE.flashable.zip" as pr: http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-t...ry-qa-t3014211. I am a very unsure about this step, it says "Be sure to flash TabZ3C-lockeddualrecovery[VERSION]-RELEASE.flashable.zip from http://nut.xperia-files.com after installing the ROM and before you reboot, this way you will not lose recovery!". What does this mean?
7) Boot into recovery and install CM and GA (and SuperSU again?)

I apologize for being thick, but there is a lot of cross linking in these treads and some are 100+ pages long, so if there is important details hidden, spotting this is difficult.

1. Boot into recovery by switching off your phone then pressing volume down + power then selecting recovery in bootloader.
2. Click on wipe.
3. Now Click on advance wipe.
4. Now select dalvik cache and cache then swipe to perform wipe.
5. Hit the home icon at the bottom left of the screen then select install.
6. selsect the dolby file you downloaded.
7. Click on add more zips then select the patch file.
8.Swipe to install.
9. Now Aroma installer will appear, follow the video.
10. Finish The Installation.
11. Now click wipe cache and dalvik, swipe, the select reboot.
13. Download And install THIS app From link Below ,open it and click on PERMISSIVE.

Question about converting back to sense.

Would it cause problems if i flash the rom before i do a factory reset through stock recovery??

[Q] Sense 6 theming

Are there any themes out there for stock Sense 6 4.4.3, or generic roms such as arhd?

In particularly it would be nice to know if the dialer can be easily themed, such as changing the keypad for a lighter colour similar to that used in Sense 7.

In the meantime I'll search for guides to theme Sense 6.
