Switching from sprint to straight talk

Hi I'm looking to unlock my sprint galaxy s4 SPH-L720 to use on straight talk. Would I need the GSM or CDMA activation kit from straight talk?

Straight Talk Tethering, rooted phone

Just trying to use my rooted ST note 3 for a hotspot for my little tab4 tablet. Ran the file programs but only have 2 lines with tethering info and both are set to '0'. Neither one is the providers check gateway? Line. Just a tethering provision line and a tethering automation line. When I turn on my hotspot it just runs 'verifying' and never goes anywhere. Even tried to turn it on and check files while its accessing but still only two lines at '0' show. Thanks for reading this.

Will OTA update me straight from OC3 to OF1 or no?

I have a 128gb S6 that is currently on OC3. I am wondering if I take the OTA will it update me straight to OF1 or will it go to OE2 then to OF1 via 2 separate OTA's? I want to be able to root and I know I can't be on OF1 but if it's possible to JUST update to OE2, should I do that? I am seeing a lot of these roms are saying I have to be on OE2 to flash them.

LG G4 H815 on straight talk (ATT) MMS not working

I'm using ATT's network on straight talk and my MMS is not working. I've tried all the APN's floating around out there. I can get LTE, but the MMS will not send/receive.

Anybody else using straight talk have any success? Do I need a new sim card?

Verizon Compatible Straight Talk Phones Are Unlocked.

At work today, in a Walmart Connection Center, I tried out an AT&T sim and a Verizon branded sim in one of the LTE compatible Straight Talk devices (Galaxy Core Prime) that uses Verizon's towers. I thought it was interesting to know that the requirement for Verizon LTE phones to be carrier unlocked also applies to MVNOs. I have yet to try and activation of such devices with another carrier, but the cards worked just fine. I suspect that Verizon will have the IMEIs blacklisted, but that's just speculation. If anyone has tried this, I am curious now if they would activate them.

Straight Talk Samsung Galaxy Core Prime (sm s820l)

This is my 2nd phone of this model.I rooted the 1st with Kingroot and had nothing but trouble thereafter.
Ended up bricking it After changing boot animations.
I'm wondering if another way has been found to gain root with this phone.
