Switching from sprint to straight talk

Hi I'm looking to unlock my sprint galaxy s4 SPH-L720 to use on straight talk. Would I need the GSM or CDMA activation kit from straight talk?

HTC one sprint WiFi Bluetooth FM Radio not working [Keep trying to turn on]

The problem is that the WiFi/bt/radio keep trying to turn on and after a long time (in the settings menu, where the buttons for on/off WiFi are located) it says error.

I am located in Ukraine, outside US. I will describe the problem by events in order.

1. Previously WIfi/BT/Radio were all working fine on Kitkat.

2. I Updated my Htc one M7 sprint via fastboot to Android 5.0.2, the official rom update from HTC US website.

3. After update, on the first boot the hands free activation came up. Since I am using a gsm sim, it could not proceed further with the message “Device cannot be activated on a GSM, only On CDMA”

4. I searched for solutions on xda, googled it, with no solutions in sight. Seems like the problem is not common. Anyways, found some loosely related posts on xda that guided,
a) Try to flash the radio with radio flashables. But the solution was not reliable, so i have not yet tried it.
b) That I should delete htcsetupwizar.apk and other sprint related apps from TWRP. Which I did before flashing ViperOne, but it did not work, although I could get into the phone menu but the phone kept rebooting if left untouched, or when power button on the top was tapped.

So currently, my device is running ViperOne 9.0.0, Hboot version 1.61, Radio version 1.01.20.1225, OS version 6.23.651.7, OpenDsp ver 35.120.274.0718
With S-ON

So should I flash the radio from TWRP ? Or consider downgrading the OS ?
Please help. Would be grateful.

Unable to sign into Sprint Zone app

Anyone able to sign into the Sprint zone app?

When I try to sign in, I get the following error.

This has been bugging for a few days now, i've been tempted to trade my phone for a galaxy note 4, just because of the hotspot and xposed, but we got xposed now, and found this in the LG G4 forum, tried it out on my phone and it worked, i'm not a developer, just sharing what i found :)

Using HTC Uh Oh Protection to switch from Sprint To At&t to use net10

Has anyone been successful using Net10 on a AT&T M9.

I see that the AT&T has a free unlock method that I never used before seems a bit risky. I called AT&T to see if they will give me an unlock code for when I get the device seems like they will.

Toying with the idea to s-off and make the device a Unlocked version in hopes it will better my ability to use net10 and get faster updates.

Main question is in my area att has LTE when I get and unlock this M9 do I just add net10 apn. It's been awhile since I've done anything like this the sprint LG G2 to net10 was simple m9 doesn't seem that straight forward ..

Please shed some light if you are using straighttalk or net10 did you s-off and go right for the international ruu/Cid flash or did you just unlock the sim?

Also best apn for net10 would be sweet Google search shows old threads when LTE was newer.

Are ALL Sprint 64GB Note 5's missing Tethering Setting?

Bought my note 5 yesterday and my hotspot and tethering settings are non existant in my settings menu. Is everyone else with this device on Sprint experiencing the same thing?

Trying to Push file / rom to my Sprint G4!

im stuck int the Security Error Boot screen . i can get into download and recovery mode but i can't get the rom back to my phone. I'm told its not bricked BUT the phone only shows the LG Logo and Security Error. ive been on my computer for 5 hours trying my best to solve this by myself through reading and watching videos to NO Avail. Flash KDZ to Sprint Variant

Long story short is I had a lot of problems with rooted sprint and ended up having to flash the verizon KDZ on it. This fixed all my problems but obviously I can't use it with sprint service now. Anyway I don't care about that but I am curious since I will still use my G4 as a media device until some method to restore sprint software comes around (if ever).

Can I flash any of the other KDZ files on my phone too? Or only US variant kdz will work?

Sprint Note 5 playstore problem

I just got the note 5 on sprint, and am having an issue with the play store. It won't let me download anything unless I start the download and then restart the phone. The phone will be stuck in downloading without actually downloading anything. Once I restart the phone it will actually download the app

Sprint DM has stopped

I have a nexus 6 from spent and cannot figure out why this msg keeps popping up. I occurs frequently through the day and i know it is hindering my phones performance. I saw some posted about titanium app but when i installed it said it couldn't reach the root. Please help. All sprintt does is and me a didn't one with the same problem.

Galaxy S4 Sprint Encryption failed - stuck on Reset Device

Hello all,
First, forgive me if the steps I followed below don't make any sense, I don't really know much if what I am / was doing. Anyway:

I have a Galaxy S4 from sprint, L720
I'm about to sell my phone, and I few months ago I rooted it following this procedure using odin:

Not too much to say here, this is just more of a background information.

Anyway, Because I'm selling my phone, I wanted to make sure my information was deleted securely form the device, and found that many people said it should be encrypted.
I tried to do that, and after a couple of hours of the phone stuck on a blank screen, I removed the battery and restarted it.
Now I have a screen that says "Encryption failed" - "Reset Device", only the button to reset it, does nothing.
I follow that guide again, installed that rom again.
I also have twrp, did factory reset, wiped all the data, and still, when I boot, I get that same message.
I have also tried to backup the data (after the debacle), restore it and factory reset the phone.
This leaves the phone stuck on the very first screen, "Samsung Galaxy S4", which maybe a good sign or not.
Any ideas?

APN Settings Blocked From Change [SPRINT]

Hello today i come to you with a small problem in the S6 EDGE Sprint variant Model SM-G925P. As seen with the picture below the APN settings are unable to modified via the main system settings, now i didnt let this stop me i took the liberty on researching how to edit/create APNs via Buildprop Editor but no dice there as well seems as Sprint may have taken the extra step to prevent these changes from happening.

With this SS you can see that ADD is Grey'd out along with all the APNs Tht Came Stock on my Phone.

Sprint Galaxy Note 5 Thread

I had to fight with UPS today for 2 hours, but I got my Galaxy Note 5. In short, I'm glad I got it. I'm sure, like always, each carrier will have their differences, but this is one SLICK SEXY phone.

Out the box I had 25%, I burned through it just doing app updates and setting up my information on the phone and then I tried the Wireless Charging...Guys, it's good! Like really good! I don't even have the Fast Wireless Charging dock. I have the Samsung Galaxy Mini Wireless Charging Pad and that finished up in just over 2 hours, so that Fast Wireless Charger is going to charge as fast as the end of a Prom date. Don't prejudge the phone over what you heard. Use it.

Can a Sprint S4 work on verizon with the GSM unlocking methods?

Hello all,
A buddy of mine asked me to help him out with a phone he got for his GF. It is a sprint phone, but they have Verizon. I have been searching high and low, I rooted the phone, supersu, busybox, the usual, used ssu.apk, tried several things, but cant get any progress. The thing is, I havet-mobile, so I only have a sim card, but when I put mine in it, it says "invalid sim", so I am not sure if that just means the phone wont work with tmobile, or I did not do it right. I can't seem to downgrade the baseband either. It current is a 4.4.2, with l720tvpuboa3,, when I try to use odin to put SPH-L720_MDC_Modem.tar.md5 on it, it gives me something along the lines of "secure check fail : mdm" and will not flash it.

I guess the main question, regardless of if I can get it to work with my tmobile sim, is will a Sprint s4 work on Verizon to begin with, before I go and further? If so, what else can I try?

Did you take it mean you have to get a separate data plan just for it. The online chat folks says you have to have a data plan just for it.

It really is not an offer at all if that is the case. At least how it is being represented.
