Unlock FDD LTE Band 20 ?
Hello,
I received my Oneplus 2 today and it does not support the LTE Band 20. It`s the chinese Version and i would like to ask if anyone figured out a method to unlock the LTE Band 20. It`s because the Hardware of the Oneplus Chinese version is the same like the European version.

Moving to AT&T - Should I replace my N910T with a N910A - Band 29?
I am likely moving to AT&T from T-Mobile. Don't get me wrong, I am a very satisfied T-Mobile customer, but they have oversold their network in my neighborhood. Testing AT&T on a Nexus 6, I an getting 10X the speed, close to 40Mbps down when I may be only 2 or 3 with T-Mobile. So, here is my question: Should I replace my T-Mobile N910T with a N910A? I have read the N910T thread and I am not asking how wonderful the T-Mobile version is. I know. I don't root devices and I am stock on my Note 4. I don't care about unlocked bootloaders. Not important to me. I also understand less bloatware.
But when I test the Nexus 6, I get faster speeds, closer to 50Mbps. I am using Band 29 on the Nexus, Band 4 on my Note. I understand that the N910A supports Band 29. My area is congested. Will I regret in a year or 2 not having Band 29?

Nexus 5 LTE Band 40 missing
So the carriers in India has only LTE Band 40 in my state. And my Nexus 5 seems to be missing the band 4 that is 2300MHz.
On the other hand LG G2 has the same Snapdragon 800 and has the band 40. Any way in which we can modify the modem to include the band 40 in it?
I have a LTE connection yet i can't use it. Duh. :(
Any help is appreciated...

Verizon SIM on band 2 & 4 in T-Mobile H811
Now that Verizon is rolling out band 2 and 4 LTE, I thought I'd try an experiment. Some background: I have a Nexus 7 LTE (2013) with Verizon data-only SIM, and an LG G4 H811 on T-Mobile. The H811 is SIM/network unlocked. I attempted putting the Verizon SIM in the T-Mobile phone. Full signal with Verizon SIM, but no "4G LTE" indicator. Attempted entering Verizon APN settings, but they would not save. (Is this device specific, or is the SIM card rejecting the APN settings?) Tried simply entering Name "Verizon" and APN "vzwinternet" but omitted MNC and MCC settings, and now "4G LTE" indicator DOES show, but no internet connection. Under About Phone/Network I am connected to Verizon on my H811 and Mobile network type is "LTE" but still not actually connected. Any suggestions for entering the Verizon APN info on a T-Mobile device and making it stick? I'm a paying customer on both networks, so please no indignant comments about "why don't you just ditch T-Mobile and/or Verizon?" This is just to satisfy my curiosity.
FYI, the Nexus 7 LTE (2013) does not have CDMA radios, so I don't care that the H811 also does not. Shouldn't the SIM work for the LTE bands that the H811 does have? Doesn't Verizon have some deal-with-the-devil arrangement with the FCC regarding their LTE that they have to allow any device on their network?

Z3 Band Selection & Tech Mode
So apparently there is a "Tech Mode" menu separate from the Hidden Menu we already know of. This menu allows us to enable or disable bands.
I found it useful as T-Mobile was intermittently pushing me from Band 12 where I have full signal to band 4 where it's much worse. I therefore, disabled bands 2 & 4, so I am always on Band 12 with full signal.
Anyway to get to it dial
*#*#*386#*#* or *#*#*585*0000#*#*
It was found by an XDA user named AndroPlus

G3 arm band problem
I recently purchased arm band for my G3 when I'm running because the phone is too big for pocket and I want to listen to some music.
It fits perfectly, only problem is that sometimes it wont double tap to wake. I dont know what causes it but the touchscreen works fine when the display is on.
sometimes it wont turn on even when I'm 100% sure I'm not blocking light sensor. If it tighten the armband stronger, phone just wont double tap to wake. Again, sensor is not blocked and touchscreen responds normally while display is on. Does somebody have idea why is this happening?

[Q] How to Force N6 Into Using Band 12
Hello,
I'm with T-Mobile, and lucky enough to live in an area that has the new 700Mhz LTE Band 12.
My N6 is constantly using band 4. I would like to force it to switch over to band 12.
Is there a way?
Many thanks in advance.

Note 4 - TMobile 700Mhz LTE Band 12 Question
I live in the Twin Cities and according to the 700Mhz map, T-Mobile has deployed Band 12 in my area. Is band 12 supposed to be faster and better? Or is band 12 just to help penetrate buildings and cover rural areas?
I'm debating if a phone upgrade is in order based on Band 12 feature.
Thanks!

I want know the band selection of SM-G9200
Hi,
I got SM-G9200 (Hong-kong S6 model) in south Korea.
But, I don't know the band selection method of SM-G9200, so I can not use it in Korea.
In the previous model S5(SM-G9008V) that I have, it may enter in the following way.
*#0011# -> Back -> Q -> 0000 -> UE Setting -> Protocol...
However, S6 does not operate in the above method.
Please share to me a band selection of SM-G9200 model.
BR,

Using LTE Band 3 (1800 Mhz)
I am relocating to Dubai for work next month, where they have 2 main cell providers that both provide LTE on Band 3 / 1800 Mhz.
I have an unlocked T-Mobile Note 4 and want to know there is anything I must do in order to get the phone working 100% with LTE on the cell network in Dubai.
Samsung's website say that these are the supported bands of the SM-N910T:
NETWORK
Frequencies and Data Type
2G GSM : GSM850, GSM900, DCS1800, PCS1900
3G UMTS(WCDMA) : B1(2100), B2(1900), B4(AWS), B5(850)
4G LTE FDD : B1(2100), B2(1900), B3(1800), B4(AWS), B5(850), B7(2600), B8(900), B12(700), B17(700)
So, if I throw in my Etisalat SIM card when I get to Dubai, should I get calls, text & LTE working at full-speed?
Seems like the answer should be yes, but I'm a bit skeptical, since the Galaxy S5 supposedly supports all of the same LTE bands , then I come across this thread :

Any input is appreciated as I will be relying heavily on my phone & need it function correctly as soon as I get there
