Adb doesnt work in Asus Zenfone 5

My phone can't connect to the pc with the Adb command, and actually i really dont know what do, 'cause in the telephon there is not a OS because i've done an hard reset. If it can help when i go in the recovery appear the message "E:Can't open /tmp/update/update-script.log
Pls im desperate, i really dont know how to flash a rom in my device :crying:

Asus Zenfone 2 OTA update problem

Hello. It's been a month that i purchased zenfone 2 2gb ram. It came with chinese firmware and then i installed ww firmware with adb sideload. After then, Asus has recently release a new update, but my phone is unable to get it. How can i get ota update? Or manually install updates without loosing existing apps and datas. Thanks beforehand.

Asus Zenfone 2 Stuck Loading

After the new update for the Zenfone 2 (ZE550ML_ WW_V2.20.40.41) My phone has not been able to make it off the loading screen, And Every Single thread I have read to fix it requires the phone to be connected to the computer. But I can not make them connect because its pretty hard to allow the connection if you cant even get past this loading screen. I need serious help, and preferably no links! If you have any idea on how to help me would you please help me out? Thank you so much! :(

Need Asus Power Saver APK

For whatever reason the Power Saver app on my ZE551ME doesn't work and I am pretty sure it never has as far as me launching it. It has popped up twice after updates but when I have tried to launch it I get "Unfortunately, Power Saver has stopped."

If someone, anyone, can pull the APK or whatever files needed for it so I can try to get mine working I would GREATLY appreciate it.

Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME176CX): Factory reset: ERROR

Hi,

I want to factory reset (wipe user data, install fresh system) my ME176CX.
The tablet runs Lollipop 5.0 (second update by ASUS) and is rooted -- done
with the temporary CWM method. The second OS-update was installed
via the temporary CWM method, too.

What I did:
Titanium Backup of all user data.
Remove SDcard from tablet.
Shut off tablet.
Press volume down.
Press On/Off
Boot into droidboot (bugdroid standing in the middle of the screen)
Select Recovery
Press On/Of Switch

The screen instantly switches to a llying bugdroid with an exclamation mark
sign above its stommach.
A message on the screen below says: Error!

I could switch off and reboot normally into the "old" system.

What's going wrong here? How can I start a reliable and valid
factory reset?

Asus Fonepad 7 ME372CG doesn't restart while updating, reset not possible?

Hey,

i am new to this forum. I have a weird issue with my Asus Fonepad 7 ME372CG while updating. The Device is NOT rooted or flashed in any way.

When updating the Fonepad shuts down and is supposed to restart. The Problem is, the Fonepad does not start again and cant be turned on again for several hours. If you hold the Power button the device vibrates and the screens flashes for a millisecond, but thats all.
After some hours the Fonepad will eventually start again, but the update is not installed.
The same happens when I tried to reset the Fonepad in "Droid Boot" modus.

Any suggestions how i can fix the problem. I just want to have the device running normally again, or with stock android.

What type of Headset jack does the Asus Zenfone 2 support?

I am currently using the Zenfone 2 ZE551ML WW model. I've phoned Asus support and they told me that the phone only supports headphone jacks and not headsets with controls and and in-line mic.

Is this accurate? Does the Asus Zenfone 2 not support 4-pin headset jacks?

If it does support 4-pin headset jacks which type does it support?

Asus Zenfone 2 or Moto G (2015)?

Hi guys, I'm new here so I don't know if I posted this in the right place. I recently broke my Moto G 1st Gen, and I'm looking for a replacement. I really like the Zenfone 2 and the Moto G 3rd Gen, but can't decide between the two. My phone receives heavy usage daily with me listening to music 4-6 hours a day and playing games, along with tons of social media and texting. I rarely watch videos on my phone, so resolution isn't too much of a problem, but I do appreciate the Zenfone's 403 ppi. However, while the Zenfone seems to be the better choice for me, I know that some people reported that the Zenfone wasn't great. I know about the Zenfone's bloatware, I plan to uninstall/disable all of it unless i find it useful. I also know about the 3G/4G to 2G call drop issue, I have very strong 4G reception where I live. As for the Moto G, my 1st gen crashes ALOT. Does anyone know if this happens on the newer models? If anyone has a Zenfone and would like to inform me of the problems with it (also, problems with the Moto G are appreciated) and if anyone could point me in the right direction for which phone to buy that would be wonderful.

Asus Memo 7 K013 - How do I Root?

I have an Asus Memo 7 K013 and I'm trying to "game" with it by using an iPega 9023. From what I understand, even in the manual, I need to root the device so that I can map the on screen controls to the buttons on the iPega 9023.

*HELP* Stuck on the asus logo, with really bad situation

Hi guyz, (Sorry for my English skills)

Yesterday i updated my Asus Zenfone 2 to 2.19.40.22_20150627_5104 (latest)
When i turn on phone i stuck on asus logo (I had rooted phone)

First i tried to turn recovery using volume up + power the relasing power buton
then i head to recovery mode and i get error (dead android)
I found solution, by holding power then 1 seconds volume up and relasing i could go to the Android system recovery <3e>
I tried to wipe data/factory reset, but phone still stuck on the logo

Then i download Asus firmware 2.19.40.20 from asus website and tried to "downgrade" by using "apply update from ADB" and command adb sideload asusSystem.zip on PC (cmd) (I installed drivers and other stuffs)
after it gives me error (on the phone)

Installing update...

Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML batter perform better in cold conditioning

Hello guys,

I noticed much better improvement over battery life while in cold condition room,i charged my phone and I was surfing internet with wi-fi and location on for 2 hours,and it was on 99% after that 2 hours!
So I think asus developers should mostly work on decreasing of battery overheat...Phone was cold for the first time while using him for 2 hours and performed great in battery life...
I know this sounds stupid,but I think when batter overheats it drains quicker for sure.

hello my asus zenfone 2 32gb ZE551ML wont boot... im stuck at the usb boot logo.... the problem is it doesnt response.
i have a tool called ( phone flash tool and intel phone flash tool )... but the problem is that i need these file for a complete succeed flash and bring my phone to life :

-OS DnX , OS Image , Modern...

they all bin files...

so if you can help me finding these files i will be greatfull...

ASUS Launcher and battery life

I noticed that when I switched to Nova my battery life increased 20-25%... something in the stock launcher is chewing up battery life

hide dock and page indicator,from asus launcher

I everybody, there is the possible to hide the dock and the page indicator from asus launcher in layout 1 lay?

Can't instal Mx Player ASUS Zenfone2 CM12.1

I have an big issue with mxplayer in my asus zenfone 2 since i instal the CM12.1 Roms

I tried to instal from Play store so i get the error message 505

The same when i instal the APK, i start the app after installation then the error message advice to instal the X86 CODECS

When i tri to instal then i get the same error message

i download them from xda link but the same things

any solution please
