Mobile Network data service doesn't work LOLLIPOP

Hi everyone,

I recently updated my LG G2 D802 from KK to Lollipop 5.0.2 and everything seemed to go well until I found out the data wasn't responding at all. I don't know if it's because some kind of bug from the new software I installed or something else. If so, do you know how to fix this issue?

No service

Im getting no service on any kitkat rom on my opo. While i get it on lp roms. This started happening after flashing miui rom by X_s.
I just flashed fastboot image of 44s and still get no service plzz anybody help!!

No texts, calls and data and service in and out.

Okay decided to flash candy last for a little bit just to get a feel of it. Flashed back to my stock backup and can't send texts or get them. Calls don't go through and calling the phone rings four times and to voicemail. Tried going through activation but even when it holds lte it claims no service. I do remember seeing an activation prompt when I flashed Candy maybe that messed something up? I'm lost here... Just tried ##72786# and phones reboots and comes back but it doesn't continue the process.

G4 H815 in the US - service

Ello, I picked up a G4 - H815 a few months ago. And this week the screen just started going crazy. Ghost clicks and swipes didnt matter if i was holding it or it was on a table. Ive had a tempered glass screen protector on it the whole time I have owned it. It hasnt been dropped or wet.

I tried LG's site to register the phone but this model isnt listed I guess due to the international model. Has anyone else been able to get theirs in for service from the US and if so how? Just looking for alittle help.

Unlock service for T-Mobile variant.

I searched around and could only find one unlock service for the T-Mobile Note 5. It's pricey too at 31 bucks so hopefully someone can find something cheaper. Right now this is our only choice for those of us who want the unlocked bootloader but use other carriers. If you guys find something else, please post here. Thank you.

Recently I unlocked a note 4, but unfortunately I did not write the default value, in service mode.

Can someone with SM-N910F version, be so kind, to entering in service mode and tell me what is your settings?
The default settings are the ones with an asterisk in between two brackets, as seen here (*) (Please do not change your option,)

to go into service mode,: in the phone dialer: * # 9090 #
then press back button to cancel.

AICP/Exodus Anti-Piracy Service

The devs of AICP and other custom ROMs such as exodus (a new ROM based on Cyanogen from the vanir devs that is available for klte and kltespr) and others are implementing what is effectively an anti-piracy trojan in their ROMs.
It's a service that runs in the backround and literally blocks you from installing these apps. Not sure why the devs felt the need to implement this trivial and easily bypassed "feature" but it goes against everything I thought the AOSP stood for and frankly disgusts me. While it is easy enough to bypass this using third party apps or a hex editor, I do not wish to support any developers that would stoop to this level of greed because they feel they are owed more. If you want money for your code, I totally understand, but this is AOSP not apple and there is a time and place for everything. Don't take out your misplaced aggression at software pirates on AOSP because although this is just a little bit of code it is the beggining of the end of AOSP. If you compromise your integrity now, it's a short trip from here to bloatware with a monthly subscription fee.
And it doesn't stop there. Apparently there was talk of banning both aptoide and XPOSED in these ROMS. That was voted down but aptoide was still on the table as far as I know. The fact that the idea of banning xposed from AOSP roms to stop its users from pirating is ridiculous and out of control. Its frankly shameful. In a modern internet climate that is becoming increasingly controlled and corporatized, AOSP is a beacon of hope to me. A reminder that technology belongs to the many and not the few. This decision spits in the face of that hope. People will say im being dramatic but this is a huge deal to me and if you care about having the freedom to do wat you want with your phone, which im pretty sure most of you do then this should be to you too. I thought I could trust AOSP devs to do the right thing but apparently they feel that it's their place decide which apps I can and cannot install. I urge you not to flash this ROM or any ROM that would compromise its integrity by adding code that is meant to control its users. This is the kind of thing that made us choose AOSP in the first place. It doesn't even make logical sense in an open source ROM as inevitably new versions of the ROM will be released with this ridiculous code removed. I am seriously disappointed as AICP was one of my favorite ROMs. The devs own this ROM and have the right to do whatever they want with it but as a user you have the right to flash a ROM with a little more integrity.

Galaxy s6 g920I mobile service dropouts

Hey guys I'm running the latest xtresto lite deo mod v2.2 I'm getting constant network connection drops not just data but call service/ sms as well i updated to the xtresto mod in hopes of fixing this but it didn't. Its not just my area i live in it does it all over Melbourne in Australia I'm with optus as well if that helps also tried tweaking my apn and new simcard. I generally fix it by turning on airplane mode then off and I've also tried just wcdma/ gsm and just wcdma. Thanks any help would be great

location service apps crash

Hi there forum

I've recently been having issues with my Samsung Galaxy S5 (M900 series) mobile device regarding Location Service Apps (i.e. "Easy Taxi" & "Uber" apps).

I was using the Easy Taxi app for some time now with no issues since downloading it a while back and had also been using the Uber app just recently, but out of the out nowhere it they both no longer work. Upon starting up either app they both instantly close with the msg, "Unfortunately, <app name> has stopped."

I've looked a little bit online and some sites have stated that turning off "Android System Webview" might fix the issue. It did not.

Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.

Cannot connect to phone service after downgrading. Help me!

I flashed my phone to android 5.0 with a custom rom. Then after using for about a month or 2, I think its not good and flashed back to stock rom with odin. I chose android 4.1.2. Then i cannot connect to phone service. I tried to upgrade it to android 4.3 with kies stock rom and it can connect to phone service after that. now i downgrade it again back to android 4.1.2 and i cannot connect to phone service. help me!

Intermittent service after unlocking by IMEI

Hello there, this is my first post here, I searched all the forum but could not find any solution to this.

I have a Optimus G E987. Unrooted, unflashed, with original rom, didn't do anything to the phone yet as I recently got it from a friend.

My friend was under a different carrier that I am. Since his contract had expired I was free to contact his carrier and get the unlock code to unlock my phone by IMEI. After succesfully unlocking the phone, I inserted my old sim card, it was a Standard Sim so I had to trim it to fit on the Micro Sim slot the Optimus G has.

Everything worked beautifully until I started having signal issues, both data and phone.
It does not happen everywhere, but it definetly happens at places I had perfect signal with my old device like my work place. To solve it, most times I can go to the network settings of the phone and choose the auto select option. This restores the service but I lose it again in a few minutes. Sometimes this does not fix a thing and I can not recover service at all.

I know its not a hardware issue as my friend had no signal problems whatsoever. Maybe I need to set up something in my phone to get it to work properly but I am completely clueless. I suspect it may be the sim card as well.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Small crack denied service on unrelated issue

I'm pretty disappointed. I was in Whistler about a month ago and using the phone around the pool. I didn't submerge it but it leaked and condensation got into the phone. Additionally, the phone has been exhibiting significantly poor speaker phone.

Subsequent to developing those issues, the phone got a very tiny crack in the corner from a drop. I sent the phone in for repair on the water issue and the speaker phone and the repair centre simply sent it back and denied servicing. Does anyone have any tips or ideas for getting servicing? I'm not looking to replace the display, simply the issues that are unrelated.

No SIM card - No service

i am using nexus 5 on t-mobile network on stock lollipop. Now my phone does not recognize my SIM card, i think there is radio issue but dont know the solution. I tried so many options but there is no success. So far i did following things

Restarted.
APN checked an different APN settings.
Different T-mobile SIM.
different carrier SIM.
Same SIM in different phone and it works.
Opened back cover and checked antena but looks fine.
Finally reset to factory default with no luck.

Can anyone please suggest me any fix, i will greatly appreciate it.

D6633 IMEI:null but after 1 min IMEI appears and No Service !!

i got that D6633 with IMEI problem ,,
when i restart the phone and request IMEI info via *#06# then IMEI:null ,,
but after 1 min when i repeat the request IMEI appears !! ,,
the problem is i can't call or receive cuz it's always "No Service" ,,
i've tried to flash the phone with Flashtool and SeTool Box with different FWs but same problem ,,
also tried to backup and restore TA but didn't help at all ,,
so, is there a solution for this weird problem ??

Nexus 5 Repaired at LG service Center - Software Failure?

Hey Guys,

My N5 is 18 months old and suddenly the screen went dead. I could hear things beeping with apps etc and could receive calls but the display was shot. I tried everything to reflash the phone but to no avail. I tried connecting to a PC to sideload - anything at all but no dice. The laptop could see the phone but couldnt access it via explorer or ADB or anything else.

I sent it into the LG Repair Center here in Forth Worth and i got this diagnosis: Software Failure. Out of Warranty by Date code, Receptacle / Minor problem.

It going to cost me 45.00 + tax to fix it so i said go ahead but i'm a little concerned on what the problem actually was. I'm afraid they are just gonna ultra flash it somehow and it'll be broke again in no time. THe repair warranty is only 90 days.

What do you guys think? Any experience on this issue or something similar? Should i get the phone back and shake it for something else?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Cell Service & Motorola Droid Turbo

Ever since I switched from the Lg G2 to this Droid Turbo I've been experiencing an abundance of call drops. I've been traveling a specific route (32 minutes) for the past 11 years and never experienced a single call drop but now there are multiple areas where the call drops every time. It's always the same areas too. Has anyone else experienced the same? Does it sound like the problem is with the phone or with the service? Running Android 4.4.4. Wonder if upgrading will fix this....

Other this issue I love this phone and even if I there is nothing I can do to fix it, I'm keeping it (or may exchange it for a new one)
