p3100 mic working in camera default app no in other app

I have a a p3100 samsung galaxy tab 2 3g 16gb internal memory, I had with android 4.1.2 and to fix the problem I just update to 4.2.2 french stock, but the problem still is on.

The microphone only work in the camera default app, but no in others app like smart voice recorder, or even in call, if I receive a call I need to activate the speaker so then the microphone get activate.

google now don't detect any voice.

I juts installed an app called easy voice recorder, it doesn't record any voice, but It has a option to select the microphone, first time I see that, and I chose back microphone and this app now it record the voice, but any other app doesn't have this option to select this back microphone thing.

so how can I activate the microphone in my tab 2 always, by default.

ROM with default call recorder

I am using S2, its been long , i am still using S2 with 4.1.2 .

Please let me/everyone know list of Roms that supported with default Call recording feature. OR works with 3rd party App that works with specific ROM

Got the T-Mobile variant and coming from Note II.

When I have multiple apps that can open a item, I would get a prompt. With my Note II, I could then specify to open it one time or always.

With my Note5, the prompt doesn't give me that option. I do get the option to select the application. I click the icon and then a get a popup reminding me how to clear the defaults.

But, I didn't want to set that application as the default. I still want to be prompted for selecting the app to open.

Is this new? Any workarounds?

i have recently started modding, so ye, i am a bit of nub in development in android. :(
What i please you to answer me is: How do i set the default icon behavior like when i install a new app, the app-icon will have a default style like it is completely round or completetly square? Also i would like to know how to set it, that the default icon will be stretched into the default frame(square/round). I guess you know what i mean. :)

Having a real hard time trying NOT to default APPS

Samsung has removed the option to use an app "just once" or " always" when there are more choice to run a program. .
Example: certain email links I would like to open with chrome instead of Internet.
Or: click to call defaults to phone all the time, but sometimes I have to use my viop app, Ringcentral.
Once an app has been selected it becomes default.
Any alternatives I can try?

How to make Google Voice the default messaging app?

I just bought an LG G4 (on Sprint). Google Voice is not an option as the default messaging app (you must choose between Hangouts and the standard messaging app). I have tried a number of suggested tricks to make it work but it appears if I want to use Google Voice, I must also use Hangouts.

I just want to use Google Voice. Short of rooting my phone, is there any way to make Google Voice my default messaging app?

[Q] Change default lockscreen camera app

Does anyone know how to set google camera (or any other third-party camera app) as the default camera to open when using the lockscreen camera shortcut?

I have another phone app (True Caller/Dialer...Which btw are completely awesome phone replacement apps). And when I use the lockscreen phone shortcut, it gives me the "select default dialog box" to choose which phone app I want to default to. The camera shortcut doesn't give me a "select default app" dialog box.

No matter what I do, it always defaults to the stock Touchwiz camera.

I have a SCH-I545 w/OC1 stock deodex (muniz's). I've tried everything I KNOW to do. Wiping data, caches, uninstall, reinstall, changing permissions...etc,etc,etc...

Default applications auto resetting

Hi I've got this problem since the very beginning after I have purchased my note 4. Well basically all the default applications keep resetting themselves so every couple of days when I choose link,it keeps asking me which browser I want to use. Which application I want to use for videos,for youtube etc.
This is not caused by installing new apps.
Anyone had this problem?

Cannot set Messages as the default messaging app

I am not able to set massages as the default messaging app. Messages app is not displayed in the More Network > Change Messaging app . I tried accessing the same settings for different places but nothing happens. When I start the messaging app , pressing ok doesnt do anything.

I tried
1. Clearing cache and data
2.Reinstalling the apk file.

I am not able to send messages with the second sim. Hangout and messenger defaults to a particular sim.

N910F: default settings in Service Mode

Recently I unlocked a note 4, but unfortunately I did not write the default value, in service mode.

Can someone with SM-N910F version, be so kind, to entering in service mode and tell me what is your settings?
The default settings are the ones with an asterisk in between two brackets, as seen here (*) (Please do not change your option,)

to go into service mode,: in the phone dialer: * # 9090 #
then press back button to cancel.

are any of the options in the developer mode turn on by default

I made developer options visible by press the build number in the settings a few times. After when i go into developer options settings, I think i it was already enable and saw some options enabled like the NuPlayer or I could be wrong. Anyways I had to enable USB debugging temporary and later disabled the developer options. Just wondering if any of those options were enabled before i turn developer options completely off. How to set default for location provider (High precision/Energy save/GPS)

My Tab is rooted:
Every time I switch location ON it starts with "High Precision" meaning GPS+Wifi+Network which is said to drain most of our battery. So I switch it to "Energy Save" = network based location.

But next time OFF/ON "High prec." again. How to set default "Energy Save" ?? Is it in build.prop, hidden service menue, ... ?

How to collapse all notifications by default?

Hello guys, I have just installed an Android 4.4.4 ROm (ARHD 22.2) and I'm going nuts trying to figure out how to have notifications collapsed by default.
I really don't like expanded notifications in the notification drawer, not even the first one.

Is there any way/setting/xposed module/workaround to get rid of this?
