Found the Menu Button

Several release ago Samsung did away with a dedicated menu button. Many of the application developers enhanced their apps to have the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner to allow touch access to the menu button.. In the S6 those apps with out a menu button had a floating circle with the 3 dots. Now with the note 5 I could not find a button combination or the floating circle for apps like moon reader. Previously you would press and hold the multitasking button. NOW you need to press and hold the back button. Why do they need to change this so often and not communicate it? Oh well but there is your answer

OEM unlock available in developer menu??

Verizon note 5 people... I got into development menu and noticed that allow OEM unlock was a valid toggle option. Did Verizon forget to lock my bootloader? Does anyone see this toggle in the development menu?? It wasn't there on my Verizon GS6. What do you guys think? I haven't tried OEM unlocking in adb.

I turn screen on, the running apps menu displays instead of home screen?

Okay, this is a little thing that for whatever reason is driving me bonkers. Bonkers I tell ya!

I recently updated to 5.1.1. Stock, but rooted and unlocked. I then installed xposed and some modules. I changed a lot, so it's hard to narrow down what is causing this.

When I turn my screen on, my main home screen should show up. You know the button on the bottom right that brings up a list of running apps? That's what shows up instead. So every time I turn on my screen, I need to hit the home button first. Bonkers I tell ya!

Thanks in advance!

System Update Menu option missing.

I finally updated to 5.0 about a month ago and after hearing all this business about stagefright and a possible security update for it. I went to where normally you would check for system updates under the ABOUT PHONE section, and there is no option for it? Any idea where it went to and how to get that option back in the menu? The other strange thing is that the last item in the About Phone menu is "Configuration Version" and it says Not Available. I have a Note 4 at work and it has info there and I imagine there should be on the Note 3 too.
Thanks in advance.

Script/command for to invoke security menu

Guys, I need your help. The screen on my Moto X 2014 is broken at the top and I can't call the security settings to enable root options. I would like to know if there's a script that can create for just evoke the security options. I can check my e-mail, so I had the idea of sending a script to my email and clicking security options would be available. There is such a possibility? Thank you for all.

Trying to port CWM; device not shown in lunch menu

I've been trying to compile CWM to my Samsung Galaxy Tab A (SM-T350). I've set up the build environment and everything works fine, but I hit a snag when trying to load my device from the lunch menu. Simply, it doesn't show up. I checked the device folder and all the necessary .mk files are there, it just isn't working with lunch. I keep getting this : Invalid lunch combo: full_SM-T350-eng. When I load the menu, it isn't included.
I have been following the guide that was posted on xda-university. I just can't execute the command: lunch full_’device_name’-eng. Any help?? I can't seem to find any solutions anywhere.

Bongs APK Kitchen_4 apktool varients_Fully_selectable_Everything in 1 batch menu

This was a tool i originally created for my use after trying multiple different apk tools and getting annoyed with different things so after i created a basic batch file to run and execute the tools i used in 1 go and was stable i started to wonder if i could switch apk versions for different projects and such.

After a couple of days of re-writing to get to a mass extended version of original single click and run batch file i have created a test version
for everyone to try.

This is still very much BETA project ATM and is just for getting feedback from everyone as i am still very much a noob in terms of coding at all

I will write a full description as soon as i get chance and put up more pics

Stuck in TWRP after trying to run a WCDMA test from the engineer's menu

So, I entered the engineer's menu on my LG G3 (T-Mobile: D851) by dialing 3845#*851# on my numpad, and I tried to run a WCDMA test. After doing so, my phone shut off and I was launched into TWRP (v2.7.1.0). I tried to restore my phone with an old backup, but it did not work. I'm not sure why. I've also tried factory resetting it. I simply rooted my phone when I bought it to apply some performance tweaks like saving battery by hibernating apps with Greenify, so I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to solving problems like this. What should I do?

Thanks for your help :)

Excessive brightness of LG G2 - Hidden menu

Hello everybody,
I've recently bought a LG G2 and the screen is too bright, and it is not possible to reduce to an acceptable brightness level in the settings. So I thought to change this parameter in the hidden menu ( 3845#*805# ), but I couldn't find where it is. Does anybody know where can I find this parameter at the hidden menu?

Thank you!
