Accidentally i had messed up with my NV item values and now my sim slots were not working
later i found a solution to same from the below link.

after this fix i was able to get the signal on both sim 1 & 2. but while roaming i had faced the same old issue of network drops..
so if someone had a untouched QCN backup of HTC e8 Dual sim (India), will try to restore and see if it works.
