Tablet not recognizing all touches

Anyone else have this problem? It does the same on my old one and new recall tablet. Sometimes it does half swipes and doesn't recognize the whole thing. Other times it will open an app I don't even touch.

If anyone else had noticed this, any fixes you've come across? I don't remember it being like this when I first got it.
