LG d802 not booting after reboot

Hi all,

I've dropped my G2 and I bricked the screen.
I replaced it with a new part from Internet, so my device was opened.

Now, when I want to reboot or power it on, my device is dead/sometimes normally poweres on.
What should I do to have fully working device again?

My ROM is stock rooted v30a.

[HELP] LENOVO P780 4GB CN - Not booting up

Hello everyone,

Before reading this, please be advised that I have read every topic related to this phone and tried everything (step by step) but I couldn't find any solution yet for the problem I have, so here it is:

Bought this phone one year ago and I'm very pleased about his performance. Yet, some months ago i might flash a ROW ROM version - I didn't had any clue what I'm doing  - and the problems started...

Since one month, I'm flashing my phone every day trying to get it work but without success :( phone is Lenovo P780 CMIIT ID : 2013CP5888 - I assume it is made in 2013 and the details on the back are written in chinese.

The problem
: all apps crash after installing stock rom (china version) and once the phone is off it won't boot (after repeatedly pressing the red button sometimes it starts). Every time after flashing it works for a few hours then it stops (freezes/restarts and keeps the logo picture untill I press the red button under the back cover)
My last flashing attempt (few hours ago):

Step 1. I have installed P780_S129_130710 ROM with SP flash tool
Step 2. I have installed LiFe_v07 4GB CHINESE ROM with SP flash tool
Phone is off now, I can't boot it since some hours and have left it to charge.
PS: i have all the drivers for flashing correctly installed

I'm very frustrated because i'm having the same every day and I can't seem to solve it yet. If someone would guide me through solving it I would be very happy :good::fingers-crossed:

Htc One not booting into custom recovery

Hey guys!
I wanted to root my HTC One M8 and ran into a little problem doing so.
This is what I have done:
  • Unlock bootloader through HTC Dev

  • Flashing the unlock.bin

  • Bootloader is now unlocked

  • Flash TWRP

  • Erase cache

  • Boot into Recovery

However, instead of seeing the familiar TWRP screen like on my previous phones, the phone shuts down completely after shortly showing the HTC logo. This is my getvar output:

Quote:

I have tried multiple versions of both TWRP and CWM, but neither do anything. It should also be noted, that when the cable is still plugged in, the orange low-battery indicator LED starts blinking, together with my screen flickering on and off (intervals of 5 seconds) with big battery charging sign on it. Could this be a battery problem? The phone boots normally into the Stock ROM.

Broken DL mode, No recovery, Not booting

hey there.
I'm in a situation where i cant boot the phone beyond the LG logo and my download mode is broken because of the bootstack that messes up download mode.
Is there anyway for me to fix this or is my phone now officially dead? I have access to mac and linux (windows if really necessary).

I'm sure I've seen some ask for help in a similar situation, but I've not been able to find the thread.

Thanks

i have Samsung Galaxy s3 GT-i9300 ram:830mb internal:16 gb quadcore.

i download the 'Googy max2 Kernel' and try it to my Android Revolotion HD rom 4.3,but its failed.
stock in the boot black screen while the sensor is blinking.

Fixed screen, at first green light on charge, now not booting and overheating charge

Hi today i got my nexus 6 back, after a smashed screen, i put it on charge and at first i had the green light in the speaker grill, then after a few minutes that light went out and nothing much happened when i tried to turn it on, i left it to charge for a while and when i went to check on the phone, it was getting quite hot (probably as hot as it would on heavy gaming).

Basically i don't know the issue here, im hoping it is a minor thing as at first something did happen, then the overheating with nothing happening. Do you reckon this is done for, or it is saveable?

Thanks

LG VS980 Secure Booting Error

Hello Everyone
I have an LG VS980. I have attempted to install a CM11 Nightly(this was awhile ago) and received a secure booting error. I have tried LG Mobile Support Tool, LG Flash Tool, QPST, but download mode exits once the flashing starts. I can't use fastboot, because I can;'t get into fastboot. My laptop doesn't detect my G2. I even tried taking the back cover off, but I quickly discovered the guide I used wasn't for my verizon model. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

-bionicARM

Thank you

Compiled AOSP image not booting and system partition is not mountable in recovery

I started porting Android 4.0.4 ICS AOSP to my device (HTC Desire SV) by creating a new devicetree from scratch.

I was able to compile and run the image for the emulator but the image with my devicetree isn't booting on my device (not even adb / bootanimation).
I just flashed the system.img with fastboot (first formatted it in cwm) and continued to use the old boot.img with my old kernel compiled from HTCDev.com which worked with the stock 4.0.4 ROM.

I am unable to mount the system partition in cwm after flashing the image:

Code:

W:failed to mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p25 (Invalid argument)

Formatting /system in recovery & make_ext4fs at the building steps:

Code:

Formatting /system...

After formatting in recovery I am able to mount /system again.

Current BoardConfig.mk:
xttp://pastebin.com/VrdGpZrp (had to use pastebin my BoardConfig.mk content is somehow flagged by the board software)

I didn't yet include extraction of the blobs.
My plan was to be able to mount /system in recovery and to install the blobs with an update.zip until I got a booting system / adb logcat.

This is my first try at porting and I'm also pretty new to Android Roms etc.

Z3C not booting - bad flash

While using Flashtool to flash a stock FTF to my device, the USB cable accidentally came out and when I boot the device now, it tells me "The software update failed, Make sure that your phone is connected to the computer and try again.

I can't seem to access flashmode anymore but I can access fastboot.

What steps can I take to get back into flashmode so that I can reflash the device?

EDIT: I do not have an unlocked bootloader, the vibrating motor stopped working on the device so it needs to be sent in for warranty repairs

I tried all combination of buttons , 3 button procedure but nothing happening.
phone was not dropped at all so i fail to understand what is wrong with this.

Phone just crashed and now having problems booting up

So I'm here at work.. working with my phone plugged in, charging, doing it's thing which shouldn't be much when I look over at it there's a bunch of "application x has crashed" and then reboots. Except it only sort of reboots. It sometimes hangs on the reboot, and if I reboot it 3-4 times it might come up into the OS but then all those messages appear again and it'll reboot itself.

I don't think I've installed anything crazy recently and blocked updates a long time ago when I got it, and am rooted with TeamWin recovery on it. I go into recovery and do a fix permissions and permissions and I get a bunch of errors to the effect of "e: xml error parsing file"

I do see that I have a nandroid backup from about 3 months ago that I might just have to try restore, but it's just weird that it seems like the phone just crashed itself. Can anyone think of any options I can try before I do that?

Also I don't think the phone has ever been updated since I got it as I froze/killed that process. Should I try upgrading to the latest? Are there big fixes/security issues that I should be concerned with that would make me want to upgrade?

Thanks for the help.
