htc one m8 dead after "fastboot oem reset" command

I used "fastboot oem reset" command. then my device restarted. but screen became totally black. bootloader screen is not loading. no htc logo.but computer detects the device.after this command in device tree product name has disapeared. also serialno, imei, modelid has corrupted. is there a method to rewrite product name, serialno, imei, modelid?

HowTo flash via adb or fastboot?

I updatet my SlimKat Rom from an weekly to "Slim-honami-4.4.4.build.9.0-OFFICIAL-8317".
After that the screen stays black. But the phone works, I get message notification, the Touchscreen vibrates, the alarm works...

Now I won't loose my data and settings. Can I flash the image or the previous again ( it stay on the sd card) via adb or fastboot without touching the phone?

I can enter TWRP, the lights told me (from red to purple and yellow) and it still works. My phone vibrates when I touch (the huge buttons) but I can't see anything.

I've to wipe Dalvik and cache. NOT A FULL WIPE. And install the "Slim-Honami***.zip".
Or maybe can I repair the graphic driver or device?

Stuck waiting for device in fastboot

Trying to follow the steps to boot into TWRP using this method:

I am able to boot into fastboot and my screen shows "Running Fastboot" but when I issue the command fastboot boot "<filename>" I just get < waiting for device > on my PC.

Any idea what is getting stuck? I factory reset the watch hoping that would solve the issue but no luck. ADB works fine.

I'm trying to locate either the executable or shared library used on the device for fastboot on a nexus 6.

I expected to find something of interest in /system/bin, because doing make clean fastboot fastbootd causes the creation of out/target/product/shamu/system/bin/fastbootd, but I don't see this binary when looking at my system using adb shell (running as root). Any help would be most appreciated

BTW, am I correct in thinking that the code at /system/core/fastboot is for the PC, while the code at /system/core/fastbootd is the daemon that runs on the Android device?

htc one x after blinking led light for some time goes to fastboot usb and after blinking some time in fastboot mode it shuts down with again blinking led. and i have very low battery life so it cant be charged as well ( being in this loop)

Moto G stuck at Fastboot screen, please help me power up the phone

My phone fell on the pavement today and it has caused the volume down button to become permanently pressed and the volume up button has stopped working. My phone switched off after a while and when I tried to turn it on, it opened in fastboot screen and since the volume up button is not working I have no way to select any of the options on this screen. I don't have a screwdriver to open the phone and reset the volume buttons, I will buy one tomorrow.

Is there a way to power up the phone from the fastboot screen without pressing the volume up button? Any help or leads would be appreciated. :)

How can i boot INTO fastboot?

Simple question that seems to confuse people when asked so I'll try to be as clear as possible. I power on into bootloop LG logo. I can boot into only download mode. When I try to get to recovery it just starts the phone into bootloop after I hit power for factory reset. I need to flash partitions again because I believe I can fix the phone. Using lgflashtool errors while trying to flash stock rom. So I'm stuck. Anyone know how to make the phone go to fastboot?...Please!!!!?

XT925 stuck in fastboot with no battery

Here's the problem: I have this XT925 and I wanted to update it to lollipop, so I unlocked the bootloader, rooted it and installed TWRP. I flashed the ROM but when it booted I noticed that Wifi won't turn on and that mobile network showed and error. So I decided to flash stock 4.4.2 ROM to get the correct Modem I needed to flash stock 4.1.2 since stock 4.4.2 hasn't arrived to my country/service provider. I flashed stock 4.1.2 and as soon as it boot up I started the process to flash 4.4.2 without checking the battery level, when I tried to flash kitkat I couldn't because the fastboot said that battery was low, so I tried to boot up but I couldn't since the rom had been wiped, then I tried to boot into recovery (TWRP) to charge it from there but I couldn't since recovery was deleted when I flashed 4.1.2. So I'm stuck into fastboot with no battery, no rom and no recovery. I've read that a factory cable might charge my phone but when I attempted to do one myself I discovered that the micro usb cable I used only had 4 pins instead of the 5 needed, I've been searching all over my house for a micro usb with 5 pins but didn't had any luck, but when I found that there was this website that used to sell some kind of adapter from normal micro usb to factory cable I tried to buy it, only to discover that the site has been taken down and I haven't been able to find something like that since.

I don't want to buy a factory cable since the shipping is very expensive to where I live (Mexico), any ideas on what to do?

Can I update bootloader only with fastboot?

Can't enter fastboot or recovery TWRP blinking

Hi, i'm having troubles trying to fix my tf300t. I can't enter in recovery mode or fastboot to flash anything. The problem started when i performed a factory reset from the rom.
I can't even turn it off, it keeps blinking in teamwin's logo screen until battery is gone. I don't know what to do..
ROM: CM12.1
Recovery: TWRP 2.7

Well lol I guess I have hosed this HDX7 up for good, at-least for now. The only access I have to my kindle now is in Fastboot . When I reboot it it comes up
Kindle fire [ fastboot ] Ready. It does accept fastboot commands -i 0x1949 but can't unlock bootloader ,send files nothing. Should I just take it to the range for target practice or put up on a shelf for possibly repairing one day? I think maybe the partitians are gone.......My brain is on overload from 100's & 100's of reading post ...............Anyone have any ideas?

Device not recognizing on fastboot (to unlock BL)

I tried to unlock my BL today. but when i tried to connect my phone to fastboot windows 8.1 (64 bit) says USB device cannot recognize. Tried with driver signing off, tried alot of drivers (ADB drivers installed correctly btw). anybody else had this problem? anyway to fix this?

I have following issue and hope that - if possible - someone can help me. I also would like to mention that I am not an
Android expert but did read a lot of articles here in the forum to find out - or better - to get an idea how things are working.

My Z3C had a water damage. Now I only get fastboot mode. Display is broken and does not show anything. I installed Android-SDK
to get ADB and Fastboot. I installed also drivers.

When I connect the device while pushing the "volume down" button the device manager show me a somc flash device with the "volume up" button I see an Android ADB Interface device. However ADB is not working (no device found) only Fastboot does.

I flashed the "Z3c_DooMLoRD_AdvStkKernel_v01_FW-105.img" with Flashtool via fastboot in the hope that I can somehow access
to "sdcard" by blindly navigating to "mount storage" but nothing seem to work.

On my linux device I see that the usb device is recognized but that it is not an mtp device.

Before I continue to spent hours without really knowing what I am doing I thought that if there is a solution I would find it here.

So if there is any way to get access to my files / pics on the device I would be really glad if someone can let me know how or
at least bring me to the right direction.

i think i messed up a little bit.. hopefully not too much :P

I wanted to " hard reset " my mate 7 and isntall a fresh 141 rom !
On twrp i selected FACTORY RESET and just selected all options included system!
I rebooted and obvisously system doesn't start!
I can access mobile through FASTBOOT but or send it in BOOTLOADER but from there i'm stuck!
I downloaded all kind of packages... but UPDATE.APP can't be installed via fastboot???
i downloaded last EMUI... i just got all files but i don't know how to go on!

Please i need some advices! thank you

Install Fastboot Drivers for Windows 10

So I was trying CM12 and it flashed the crappy Cyanogen Recovery over TWRP. I was trying to flash it again through Flashify and other similar apps but it just won't work. I'm now trying to flash TWRP again through Fastboot...but i can't get to install the proper drivers for Windows 10. I tried flashboot drivers and many others I've found online with no success.

How can I get my tablet recognized by Windows 10 ?

[Q] fastboot flash system system.img FAILED , need fix

I have a ZE551ML and want to install CM. I am following the guide here. I have run into a problem on the first step which points to the guide here. At step 7 of this guide it has me use the command: fastboot flash system system.img. This fails with the error in the title of this post: FAILED <remote: Permission denied>. I have been googling this and no one has a concrete solution. Currently my phone will not even boot as the three fastboot commands before this one worked just fine and replaced the files. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Fastboot partially working

I had KK 4.4.4 running on my KF2 and now on the process of restoring the stock Amazon OS I'm facing an issue
where my device IS is fastboot, fastboot detects it but when I try to push something it stays on "waiting for device",

I unlocked with MSL code and now i cannot get it to register on my computer tried different usbs cables adb fastboot recovery nothing shows up anywhere. Not sure if worked before MSL code because it still charges did a month ago.

Fastboot drivers

I followed a tutorial on sonymobile.com how to unlock my bootloader, I installed all drivers, android sdk and flashtool but it won't work.
When i look on my laptop under devices i see that the driver "S1Boot Fastboot" isn't found. I cant find this driver for the t3 on internet.
Does anyone has a link or know how to fix this? I got windows 10
